When our original caterer cancelled at the very last minute for my Grandad’s funeral, I honestly didn’t know what we were going to do.

Then Dane’s Kitchen stepped in without hesitation and for that I’ll always be grateful. 🙏🏾❤️

The food was absolutely top tier, authentic Caribbean flavours, cooked with love, beautifully presented and enjoyed by everyone. During such a difficult day for my family, it was one less thing to worry about and your professionalism and kindness meant more than words can express.

Thank you, Dane, for showing up for my Grandad and my family when we needed it most. Wishing you nothing but continued success with Dane’s Kitchen and your catering business, you truly deserve it.

If you’re looking for authentic Caribbean catering, make sure you follow @daneskitchen_26 on Instagram and show them some love. You won’t be disappointed! 🇯🇲🍛✨

A few weeks ago, Manchester welcomed the @blackunitybikeride and what a day it was. 🚴🏾‍♀️♥️🖤💚

There was rain, then sunshine, but most importantly there was unity. Seeing people of all ages and abilities riding together, reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, and celebrating community reminded us why events like this matter so much.

Now it’s London’s turn.

📍 1 August 2026

If you’re in or around London, come along, bring your bike and be part of something special. Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or just enjoy riding for fun, everyone is welcome.

A huge thank you to @blackunitybikeride for bringing this movement to Manchester—we can’t wait to see what London looks like.

If you enjoy community stories, travel and culture, follow @twocuriouscreators for more.

Birmingham’s @danescatering are bringing tradition, confidence and serious flavour to @UKJerkFest 🇯🇲🔥

For Dane, great jerk starts long before it hits the fire: proper seasoning, time to marinate, and staying true to the traditions that make jerk so special.

London may get most of the attention but plenty of people will tell you that some of the best yard food in the UK is found beyond the capital. Dane is proudly flying the flag for Brum, convinced that the Midlands has what it takes to take home the crown.

So, what do you think: does the best Caribbean food in the UK live outside London? Join us at UK Jerk Fest and cast your vote with every bite.
