COMP 10!!! 2nd last comp of the year. On Saturday, G.B.C. took on the smaller conditions and embraced the cracking weather that Garie had for us. We had a good turn out with the juniors all ripping as usual. Groms were keen as lurking round the establishment in anticipation to sniff out some prizes!! A big up to our super duke Shaggs surfing his dukes heat and finding his own secret bank down at little Garie!! @jeff_shags_ryan Besides all the crews competitive spirits (including some interferences and leggy pulls) everyone else was also heaps keen to rip into some new UCS beers courtesy of @undergroundcivilsupplies In celebration of the red rocket (Ryder kanetoad) birthday. Enjoy the new rod ya snapper slayer 🏀 We wrapped the day up with a preso and some prizes courtesy of @the.ritual.vision @sabre.graphics @undergroundcivilsupplies Results: Opens 1st @zacmcmartin 2nd Brett hardy 3rd @danga2230 4th @jared_kidd 5th @jayden.leplaw 6th @jedburtonn Juniors: 1st @zacharyyroberts 2nd @hunterkent_13 3rd @zahnm2010 4th @jack64684 5th @billy_mcdonald00 6th @willsolomon36 Masters 1st Brett hardy 2nd @danga2230 3rd @sean_.gale 4th @sjohnno_ 5th @paul_ryno 6th @antfarkers G.B.C 2026 is far from done! COMP 7 With the freedom to postpone comp 7 (actually our 5th point score due to a coupla early season cancels), we were lucky to run in some sikkk condies on Saturday. Crisp winter sun, light offshore winds and 3-4ft surf couldn’t be backed up by a decent bank, so inconsistency gave us some slow periods. But some sick waves did roll through giving us some of the best waves GBC has ripped apart this year. Big shoutout to Bretto the Beast surfing 5 heats (including 3 in a row) across opens + masters and winning 4 of em. Also to Zahn who was without his other regular Junior mates but stepped up to opens for the first time and was shredding, almost making it through to the semis! With top seed ZMac out of action, a new winner had a chance to claim Opens, and the final was stacked with everyone just behind him on the GBC rankings - congrats Clint on his first comp win. Also good to see some past members swinging by to check out the GBC the revival. RESULTS Opens 1st @clintonnbrowne 2nd @bbeauwallace 3rd Brett Hardy 4th @zanekidd_ 5th @taj.kidd 6th @jared_kidd Masters 1st Brett Hardy 2nd @russellwallace1975 3rd @danga2230 4th @don.mccaw 5th @loudyd 6th @mattdaws Juniors 1st @zahnm2010 Dukes 1st @jeff_shags_ryan Huge thanks to sponsors contributing to comp 7: @geckoprojects and @sabre.graphics for flags and t shirts @undergroundcivilsupplies , @theengadinetavern and @the.ritual.vision for comp prizes All About Meat for the bbq High Force for the internet @mattbuildgroup and @soundplumbingservices for financial support Next point score is 1/2 August and we will hold a committee meet in the next couple weeks (date TBC), all welcome. See yas at the next comp!!!

G.B.C Comp 6 Last weekend G.B.C crew met down garie and the call was made. Blue bottle @don.mccaw got the wave of approval from the local dolphins and passing humpacks, giving us the go ahead for our 4th comp of the year. Conditions were cold with light offshore winds and a 0.5m swell, but there was enough for us to run a dusty post-winter part sesh and tick another grouse day off the GBC calendar. Thanks to @thewaterlog.co for coming down and getting some sick shots in and out of the pond. Sus his account for the full collection of comp 6 pics. RESULTS Opens 1st @zacmcmartin 2nd @bbeauwallace 3rd @zanekidd_ 4th @noah_fuhrer 5th Brett Hardy Juniors 1st @hunterkent_13 2nd @zahnm2010 3rd @aiden_stratton5 4th @zacharyyroberts 5th @willsolomon36 Masters 1st Brett Hardy 2nd @danga2230 3rd @russellwallace1975 4th @antfarkers Dukes 1st @paul_ryno 2nd @jeff_shags_ryan Congrats @antfarkers on the @the.ritual.vision raffle win.
