My short film, The Escort, is out now!

Big thanks to everyone involved, I'm so proud of this film.

Morgan Spencer and Todd Frymier for always being so amazing to work with, and embodying these characters so well. And for the trust they placed in me and the crew for this one. This film will always hold a special place in my heart as the first time I finally got to put two of my favorite actors of all time in a film together and just watch you both be absolute magic. I feel like I spent this entire shoot just silently in awe of the both of you.

Daniel Katter for shooting for my money one of the most gorgeous films we've made yet. There's some shots in this film that I will treasure forever.

Victoria Britton a superstar who kept us on track, fed, and literally in focus. I don't know how I ever made anything without her help or insane scheduling prowess.

Kurt Roembke an actual angel who not only did the most crucial job of all, capturing the sound, but also made the website in the film, mixed the sound afterwards, AND made the beautiful music that took this film from something I was feeling pretty good about, to something truly special.

Lucas Gerke a transcendent being of pure getting it done. I asked him to do so much heavy lifting metaphorically and literally, flexing so many different positions on the crew, and he rocked all of it.

Christina Ray-Lynn Connelly a woman with a thousand voices who really tempted me to have the madame on the phone be a full southern caricature, but ultimately provided the exact amused and understanding voice that guides Todd's Charlie towards this fateful night.

And Morgan Gullett an actual filmmaking prodigy who was awesome enough to jump on set and lend us a huge hand, and even wrestle with my haze machine so we could really get that beautiful film look.

Oh, and big shout-out to my friend Archie Brady for being an absolute king and letting me rent his place so we could make this thing happen. From elementary school to this, look at us now haha.

Thank you all so, so much! (You can find the film on my YouTube channel, Jake Ryan Baker)
