Jambu Jambu Asia Presents: Dangerdisko Next Friday at @kikyolounge, we welcome one of KL’s most iconic Electronic DJ/producer duos to the Jambu decks @dangerdisko. With support from @nik.kaiza, @sanjeevraj9, and @iamvictorchan. DANGERDISKO is a name that’s become synonymous with KL’s nu-disco and synthwave scene. Helmed by Shaheed Naz and Robotron 5000, the duo has spent nearly two decades shaping Southeast Asia’s electronic soundscape. From topping charts and soundtracking films to performing at some of the region’s biggest festivals, including Wonderfruit, Good Vibes, and Future Music Festival Asia. The duo have opened up for countless favourites including internationally acclaimed duo Chromeo. With a genre-bending sound rooted in retro futurism, rhythm, and dancefloor energy, their sets promise shimmering grooves and nostalgic textures. 10:30PM – Late Friday, 11 July 2025 RM30 General Admission (Very limited space) Ticket link in bio ~ see you all on Friday!

I wanted to be the next Janet Jackson As I child I dreamt of being on stage singing and dancing and sharing the joy of music to the world It was a stark contrast to how I felt internally - shy, reserved and self conscious The thing is we can be everything we choose to be I didn’t let my natural state deter me from living my dream I listened to the singers I loved every day I studied them I put myself in their shoes and did everything in my power to turn my dreams into reality I failed many times I transformed failure into feedback I refined Yes there was a part of me that thought it was an impossible dream How was this little Asian kid from a tiny country south of Thailand and north of singapore ever going to make it big on the world stage? Only when I let go of my attachment to how I imagined my success to look like was I able to recognise, acknowledge and celebrate the success I was already living Your dreams are the snippets of potential realities seeded in you Your greatest purpose is to allow your dreams to grow To do this you must have faith. You must believe it is possible even when you don’t know how it will happen. You must know WHY this dream lives in you. Because if you can dream it then why NOT?!!! The dream is there for a reason and sometimes the reason doesn’t come clear until you allow yourself the journey I still see myself as the shy, reserved, self conscious little girl My why is what keeps me going 🎶 Because music is the frequency of life itself 🎶 Because music fills the gap where words fail 🎶 Because music heals I have more dreams to realise - you reading this are a part of these dreams 😍 You’re never too old and it’s never too late to live that dream alive in you 🔥 If I can do it, so can you 🫵🏽 💭 What did you dream to be as a child? 🧒🏽 Share below 👇🏽 ↗️ SHARE now to INSPIRE #backtolove #vulnerabilityisstrength #consciousrelating #loveislove #emotionalhealing #fearlesslyauthentic #selfawarenessjourney #shadowwork #consciouscommunity #mindfulnessmatters #transformationalcoaching #lifecoachforwomen #impbeingfearless #impplaygroundofdreams
