Dear Byron track, I’ve changed through this sport from being a sprinter in 7th grade and going to distance in 8th. Not just changing my events but changing who I am as a person because of the people I met. The friendships from other schools are now some of my favorite people and I’m so forever grateful to have met them all (shoutout Bago fr). I’m truly gonna miss all the silly runs we did at practice and rating parks with the distance pack. The distance pack has been through it all with me the ups n downs, hard workouts, and everything in between. Senior season definitely didn’t go how I wanted it to go in any way but we finished and that’s all that matters! I truly can’t believe my running career is over, thank you Byron track for the past 7 years!
