Second Team Spotlight🏅:We wanted to recognize our Cortina MVPs, Madi Fish and Josh Lintner, with our honorable mentions being Hanna Susak, Danica Monfort, and Zayd Salahieh. Each of these individuals brought something special to the experience and helped shape the energy of our time here in Cortina.

A consistent theme among both our MVPs and honorable mentions was their kindness, inclusivity, and genuine enthusiasm for being here. Whether it was welcoming others, encouraging teammates, or simply bringing a positive attitude to every activity, they continuously helped create an environment where everyone felt included and supported.

What also stood out was how eager they were to fully embrace this experience. They made a real effort to get out, explore, and take advantage of everything Cortina had to offer. Whether it was the big program moments, skiing, finding hikes to explore, meeting athletes and volunteers, or just the small day to day experiences, they approached it all with curiosity and a genuine appreciation.

A huge thank you to Derek Ramos from Delta Air Lines for the amazing Delta merch. All of the MVPs were so excited to receive it and proudly represent Delta Air Lines.✈️❤️

Today we had the opportunity to attend Paralympic Alpine Skiing! Watching athletes from around the world fly down the mountain with that level of speed and control was incredible to see in person. One of our biggest takeaways from the day was the energy of the crowd and how it made the atmosphere even more special, with people waving flags, cheering for their countries, and the live reactions to every run. It was truly unforgettable!

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was getting to meet two incredible Team USA Paralympic athletes. We had the chance to speak with Jackie Hamwey, a Paralympic snowboarder, and Audrey Crowley, a first time Alpine skier who placed an impressive 5th place today. Hearing their stories, meeting their families, and learning about their dedication and perseverance behind their journeys made the experience even more powerful. Be sure to check them out and support their journey!
