Last week, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Marketing from Sam Houston State University…
🎓🧡🌟

I’m amazed at how fast life unfolds!! Just like that my college years flew by, and my last semester at Sam Houston was nothing short of magical!! I’m so grateful to have felt all the love on graduation day. How lucky am I to have something so special that it makes saying goodbye so hard??

Feeling so blessed to have worked alongside so many talented choreographers and dancers my last semester at Sam. There was nothing more rewarding than putting these incredible works on stage!! Thank you SHSU, for the most unforgettable 3 years and the best people to share them with!! I’ll cherish these performances, rehearsals, dances, and memories in my heart forever🤍

Cheers to semester 8/8, and to all the good that’s yet to come!! 🥂🍾 That little girl in the last slide is so proud🥹🫶🏻

Highlight of the semester: SENIOR STUDIO🤎🌟🤍🥹

No words could ever express the gratitude I have for this process, these people, and this concert. To choreograph a dance with so much meaning to me was healing and empowering in the most beautiful ways!! @seniorstudio_f25 I’m so blessed to have had my choreographic debut next to some of the most talented cohort of choreographers I know, and I’m so proud of all of us for pouring our hearts into this project!! Huge thank you to @sparkmannoble for all your mentoring, guidance, and support! I will forever cherish all the valuable lessons you taught me🤍

Trinity, Alexina, Paige, Lacy, Camila, and Caro… my beautiful friends and lovely cast!! This was all possible because of YOU!! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to my piece. You brought my vision to life and allowed me to share my story with you, so you could then share it with the audience. Thank you for experimenting with me and playing along with all my crazy ideas… and doing so amazing in the process!! Every rehearsal, laugh, joke, show day, and performance was incredibly special and our time together is one I will forever cherish!! I’m so proud of you, and I love you all more than you could ever know!! 🫶🏻💐

Special thank you to my dad @lserrano2007 and my sister @va.le_serrano for making my music for my dance!! This project is extra special because you were a part of it, and I’m so blessed to have had you be such a crucial part of this process!! Los amo❤️

Only one semester left and I’m going in with the most grateful heart!! YAY for senior studio, and YAY for what’s left to come!! 🌟🎓🧡

PS- swipe to see my biggest support system😭🩷so much love for them all!!

Full video of my Senior Studio coming soon… ;)🥳
