The final STOOR Live at Sónar 2026 session is now up on YouTube!

Day 3 was a banger. The room was hot from start to finish, everyone was locked in, and everything just clicked.

Musicians, visual artists, the Sónar team and the STOOR crew were all on top of their game. One of those nights where the energy kept building and never really dropped.

Watch along with us for the next 7 hours as we relive the final night of the SonarCar takeover. Tune in and join the live chat on the @stoorlab channel.

Finally, you can watch the full STOOR Live session at @sonarfestival — seven hours straight of musical and visual improvisation with @fjaak, @kink303, @nene.habiba, and @speedyj_jochempaap, where I had the honor of creating live visuals with the @stoorlab team.

A huge thank you to @daniel.steenhoff, @hekmanderijn, @karlklomp and the entire @stoorlab crew.

Sunday the 16th of August we'll premiere the full set of Dekmantel Festival x STOOR Live in Paradiso!

This edition the music and visuals kept unfolding into darker and more abstract territory, while the video crew captured it through an equally raw and glitchy lens.

Join us at 16:00 CEST on the STOOR YouTube channel. See you in the live chat!

“Reaction”
Been experimenting with Ableton + TouchDesigner to create fully audio reactive visuals. Audios all original, visuals are based off a tutorial by @daniel.steenhoff with a few edits and then linked to Ableton.

Last Thursday marked the 12th STOOR Live at Paradiso. After taking the format to Sónar and FuturFestival this season, it felt good to be back at our home base.

We brought those recent experiences back with us, using them to rethink details, try new ideas and shake off some routines.

STOOR is a canvas for everyone involved, and this group is an incredibly deep source of ideas. We’ve only scratched the surface of what this collective can do.

So for this edition, we put ourselves on the line again and threw ourselves into the deep end. Just press start and trust the process. Everything on intuition; that’s where the creativity lives.

The constellation of musicians and visual artists this time was a perfect match. A beautiful conversation, with everyone speaking equally, bringing ideas from every side of the table while leaving enough space for each of them to bloom.

Thank you to all the makers, and everyone who contributed to this special gathering!

Less than a week until the monolith rises again in Paradiso!

Next Thursday, 30 July, we’ll reassemble the spaceship for another seven-hour marathon session, fully improvised from start to finish.

New this time: the second area moves downstairs to the Basement, where SnPLO will take centre stage for a fully improvised set of their own.

See you at Dekmantel x STOOR Live in Paradiso!
