Thank you to everyone at ORU that made these past 2 years so fun! ORU has been a great place to learn and grow as a person and I’ve made some amazing memories here. I’m so thankful for those who have come into my life and all the experiences I’ve made! Due to a bunch of things, I’m coming home and will continue my education in Texas, sooo I’m excited to see how this next chapter plays out! I love everyone up here and I’m sad to go but I’m still cheering you guys on up here!! #leaving #newchapter #fyp #college #friends

There is so much to be thankful for as I look back on this year! And man, what a year it’s been. So much has happened, I finished my first year of college, worked with horses in Colorado, saw my sister get married, learned so much, and most importantly I grew in the Lord. Without Him nothing is possible. I can’t believe 2025 has come to a close, but I look forward to a new year, and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store! 🥹

Very late post lol but last month, I had the incredible opportunity to go to Togo, Africa with @oru_missions, joining over 30 teams sent out across the world. Our trip started with an unexpected delay—we were held back for three days due to visa issues. It was discouraging at first, but instead of wasting time, we used those days to evangelize around Tulsa, visit Voice of the Martyrs, and serve at Tulsa Hills Youth Ranch. All the while, we were praying and believing for a miracle. Just before we were about to be rerouted to a different location, the Lord did a miracle and our visas were approved at the last minute!

When we were in Togo, we worked with our amazing contact Dr. Folly and @lightintheworldfoundation . We helped create a beautiful garden in this huge park/event center the organization is building for the community as a way to share the gospel to people. We also got to bring 100 French bibles and give them to the organization and to people who have never had a Bible due to limited access! Lastly, we got to do a day of children’s ministry and a day of ministry in the local church where we got to lead a Bible study.

It was such a life changing trip and I’m grateful of every moment. As I was a co-leader for this trip, I was stretched in several areas in leadership that I will carry the rest of my life! Although there was so much roadblocks in the trip, I feel I got so much closer to Jesus because I was constantly seeking his face. In every trial, I felt him closer than ever.

NOT BY MIGHT BUT BY HIS SPIRIT

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:2-3

Team Togo, you taught me what pure joy looks like through trials. Thankyou for being the most amazing team, it was such an honor to be a part of ORU missions with y’all🤍🇹🇬
