Female friendships when you live in a foreign country and your in your mid 30s just have a totally different feel to it. So I make it a mission to design these days of girlhood with my wonderful girlfriends, something I hope to inspire you to do as well. 💃🏻💃🏻

In the words of my wonderful friend @Daniela, whom I spent this day with, I am apparently her girliest friend, and I´ll take that compliment and wear it like a badge of honour as I sip my tea from my new pink cup this morning. 💕

From the girl that doesn’t care much for Valentine’s Day, but really needed a day of love with both her friends and her husband, here comes a story of waffles, coffee and ceramics, cocktails and French food, and sunshine after a month of rain. ❤️

Life lately in this pre-Christmas era. Meals and drinks with friends, dog outfits (are we really those people now?), gift giving and time spent outside because how privileged are we to live in a country that is this sunny and warm even in winter? 🎄

But now we’re off to cold Romania, and not even 48h in, I am already feeling all the magic that I can’t wait to share with you! ❄️

Almourol Castle or Castelo de Almourol, Praia do Ribateio, Portugal

Almourol Castle is a medieval castle on the islet of Almourol in the Taqus River and one of the most iconic monuments in Portugal.
It was built in the 12th century by the Knights Templar on the site of a Roman or Visigoth fortress.
It was restored several times but above all starting from the 1850s, during the Romantic Age as a symbol of the Portuguese and Templar heritage as well as of Medieval times.
Restoration work continued in the 20th century, in 2006 and in 2013.
The castle is one of the best representations of the influence of the Knights Templar in Portugal.
In 1910, it was classified as a Portuguese National Monument.
It belongs to the Portuquese Republic and is open to the public.

A magical day in March '24 celebrating Pigmeu's 10th Birthday at the incredible Montado @freixodomeio with an amazing group of people.

The menu was crafted by legends of nose-to-tail cooking: @margotehenderson , @hector.henderson , @fergus_nosetotail , @garetheoinstorey , @j.vintem & @filipemramalho — seamlessly blending British and Alentejo flavors with some regional classics for good measure.

The wines from @vadio_wines & @las_vedras_vinhos were absolutely perfect—though they made me regret the 3-hour drive back south!

Huge congrats to @pigmeuportugal and @miguelazevedoperes for an unforgettable celebration.
