🎶 DO YOU REMEMBER… THE 21ST NIGHT OF SEPTEMBER? 🔥🌍💨

There couldn’t be a better day to share this.

On September 21st — Earth, Wind & Fire Day — I want to celebrate not only one of the greatest bands and musical legacies of all time, but some phenomenal musicians I’ve had the privilege of making music with.

🎸 Uncle @morrispleasure Pleasure on bass — legendary multi-instrumentalist, former member and Musical Director of Earth, Wind & Fire, whose incredible career has also included working with Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Roberta Flack, Chaka Khan and so many more.

🎹 @lukesmithmusic on keys — an extraordinary musician whose credits include George Michael, Chaka Khan, Amy Winehouse, B.B. King, Roy Ayers and many others.

🎸 @mikebrown51 on guitar — another world-class musician whose credits include performing with the late, great George Michael, among many others.

🥁 @danieldeejjohn bringing that incredible rhythm and musicianship on percussion/drums.

And yours truly, @tatelovemusicltd — The Prince of Soul 🎤 @raphaeltatefanpage

When you get musicians of this calibre together, you don’t just play the music — you FEEL it.

Today I salute @earthwindandfire
@MauriceWhite, @philipbaileyewf , @verdine_white , Ralph Johnson and the entire Earth, Wind & Fire legacy for creating music that has crossed generations, cultures and continents.

Their music reminds us that great songs don’t have an expiration date.

So on this 21st of September 2026…

🎶 Do you remember? 🎶

Happy Earth, Wind & Fire Day! 🌍💨🔥

@theoutlookorchestra x @hvywght_ldn presents The History of Dubstep at @weoutherefest
What an exquisitely talented team on and off stage going the extra mile to deliver a blinder of a first show for a genre they love. There are few joys like playing arrangements crafted by drummers where each break or push is considered for maximum effect on the audience out front. Super honoured to have been part of such an insane rhythm section, time with these guys is always time well spent, especially when it involves more than one piccolo snare, cymbal stack and mind altering bassline.
Let’s do that again please.
