Navy Outdoor Invitational

4x100m: 42.80
200m: 22.93

A humbling season opener. A lot left to be desired in both races. Incredibly grateful to be healthy and competing at this meet.

The handoffs in the 4x100m were a mess, but we got the main goal of getting the baton around done so can’t complain about that. Now we just need to dial in on making each handoff more efficient.

My first outdoor 200m in three years did not go how I envisioned it. The start was mediocre followed by a mediocre drive phase and top end. The second half of the race was far from what it should be. The legs just didn’t have any juice in them. Will continue to build. Praise God.

Congratulations to Daniel Dobin on breaking the school record in the 55m dash. The previous record was 6.55 set in 2012 by Abdias Myrtil.

The boys competed at the Section 11 League 4 championships. Although we didn’t get the results we wanted, many athletes placed and set new personal best. We do having athletes who will be competing at the county meet (for the chance to run at State Quals) and some athletes who qualified for nationals in open events and relays. Good luck to the athletes who are moving on and congratulations to the athletes who’s seasons are over.

This is a little bit late but spring year of doin track was crazy. Met a lot of people that are close to me and grew too much with my teamates. I’m thankful for all the opportunities and growth track has given me. Persisting and pursing all that I want to accomplish. To my coaches and to my teamates, thank you for everything y’all truly will stay in my heart.
