Throwback to the groomsmen’s impromptu performance at our wedding!

Well, I finally have had time to reflect upon what transpired the last four years of my life on the road with the Broadway National Tour of Les Misérables.
Little did I know back in 2022 that I would be making so many new memories that would last a lifetime. I would form new live-giving friendships that would shape the man I am today and at the same time, get to experience how incredibly awe inspiring and beautiful North America is.

After summer rehearsals in NYC back in 2022, I packed up our Honda CRV with @abigail_jeter and our 8 month old pup @kai_theaussiedood and headed off on our grand adventure. While my family was with me almost 2 years, I ended up being on tour until a few weeks ago when the tour ended on June 28th, 2026. After 1,181 performances of Les Misérables and 190 ValJeans, traveling all across the US and Canada, this magnificent production and season of ours lives, has come to end.

To say the least, I will be forever changed!!

We finished Les Mis🥹 I have finally come around to making my post after the show closed over two weeks ago. This show and this experience for the last year and a half of my life is something I will never ever take for granted.

Les Mis was always the BIGGEST dream of mine. Ever since I was little, I fell head over heels for this musical. I really was (and still am) a Les Mis super fan. Bringing this show to audiences across North America was the greatest blessing imaginable. I saw so many amazing places, and met the most incredible people, and had the privilege of telling the greatest story of all time.

I’m feeling so emotional, and filled with sooooo much gratitude. Les Mis brought me so much purpose. An actual dream come true. I could write on and on about this experience. And no amount of words can wrap up how much joy and happiness I feel to be apart of this.

THANK YOU TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO HELPED ME ALONG THE WAY AND WHO MADE THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD POSSIBLE!!!!

I love you all!! I love you Les Mis!! Thank you!!

Les Miz, I have so much to thank you for. Though my mom might say the best thing you gave me was my health insurance, I walk away knowing it was really the people I had the privilege of getting to know and love that became the biggest blessing. This cast, crew and company was full of the most loving, supportive and wonderful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Thank you to each one of you who helped make this 3 hour behemoth of a show work every night.

After almost 2 1/2 YEARS, I mizzed my last Miz on 06.28.26! I performed this show 725 times, in 68 different cites, and had the blessing of wearing the red vest 39 times!

To say this was a dream come true is an understatement. Finding the words to properly express how grateful I am for this chapter of my life and my career is difficult, but I am filled with joy every time I think about how little Danny would simply be aghast to know he got to march through One Day More 725 times.

Lastly, I need to thank my beautiful wife, @caitlynminuto . Caitlyn, you have supported, sacrificed, and lifted me up each and every day of this journey. From rounds and rounds of callbacks during the middle of planning our wedding, to the decision for me to leave and go on the road 3 weeks before we said “I do”, to coming out on the road for over a year, and everything in between, you loved me and encouraged me through it all. Even when it cost you so much. I will never be able to thank you properly for all you have done for me in this season. You’re simply the best wife in the world, and the biggest blessing God has and will ever give me. I love you, thank you.

I’m sure I’ll see you again soon, Les Miz. Until then, Courfeyrac out ✌🏻🇫🇷

Les Mis is closing today and it is such bittersweets, but fuck if it isn't delicious. I spent over two years on the show, before heading out a few months ago.

Its hard to describe, but its almost certainly written and seemingly meant to be, but at the same time, it can be completely unexpected, unplanned and unbelievable.

What we do, all of us, is somehow longer than a lifetime and shorter than a moment, yet we do it as if it is what life will be like for the rest of our days. To that I say... Why not?

Why not trade the car for a van? Why not bring the whole family, the cat AND the dog? Why not put your life in storage and just go? Why not take that 19 hour drive to Fayetteville? Why not tear up when the fireworks start popping up in the middle of your drive, reminding you that its a going to be a brand new year? Why not get back into performing on stage after all but giving it up? Why not risk hotel after hotel after hotel, navigating children and pets and relationships? Why not meet new people? Why not jump back into singing after possibly forgetting how to sing, or maybe feeling like you did? Why not trust that it will work out, despite the times you've faced when it didnt? Why not put your whole life on the road for two years and take on teaching/homeschooling, pretending you know what you're doing until maybe you do? Again. And again. And why not relish it all? Why not laugh incessantly? Why not embrace your friends like its the last time every time? Why not love your partner like you've never loved before? Why not have that fight in the middle of the night? Why not make up again in the morning? Why not mess up time and time again, looking for yourself in all of it? Why not bond more than you'd ever thought you could again? Why not have more best friends? Why not have more connections? Why not dance more? Why not cry harder than you thought you were capable of? Why not do that three hour show again? Why not more chats? Why not more joy? Why not more love? Why not have it all? Why not?

If you know the answer, don't tell me. I don't want to know.

Ask me why not.

Love you, Les Mis. Always.
