Praise Jesus. I finally maxed out all my badges in college with precise accuracy, from my sufferings to the Olympic trials to indoor world qualifications, NCAA championships, and conference championships. The list really goes on. God is great.

When I look back on five years of Division I collegiate competition, I’m thankful for all that God has blessed me to accomplish. Ten years ago, I remember praying about being in the places I’m currently in. I know that without God, I wouldn’t have been able to obtain any of it, so I want to start by saying thank you, Lord.

Collegiate track and field is no joke, but thank you to my entire support system for helping me physically, spiritually, and financially. I’m appreciative of all the love, the trials, and everything that came with this journey. As I turn the page and enter the next chapter of life, I know the Lord will lead me to the right places.

This season may not have been the greatest on paper as I battled so many different things, but these experiences have only added to the abundance of knowledge I’ve been blessed to receive. It’s not over until God says it’s done. No matter what the enemy has plotted, I remember one of the reasons I even took interest in this sport in the first place. As one door closes and another opens, I know this is only the beginning.

A special shoutout to my love. Thank you for always encouraging me and being that light in a dark room, for always believing in me. Truly heaven-sent, and I thank God that I have you in my life. Thank you for all the sacrifices you’ve made in your own life to help me reach my goals. Thank you for always being yourself so kind, sweet, loving, and forgiving, even when I wasn’t. ❤️ Thank you for being my coach when I didn’t have one, for helping me manage and grow in my faith and as a person. All I can really do is thank God for you. I love you.

Farewell to the 512. Coming soon to a track near you 🫱🏾‍🫲🏾

Dear Indoor 2022, If only you knew the road traveled. Losing a season to covid as a freshman in college, then transferring after battling adversity to an entirely new environment. It has indeed been a process but an indoor season to remember. I thank GOD for giving me the tools to move forward continuously this indoor season and all the lessons learned. I thank my family for being the perfect support system and keeping me up when I was down. I thank my teammates and coaches for pushing me in practice and keeping things fun. This indoor season will be one to remember and the start of something great.
