Soooooo for day 2 of the @popflex_active team retreat we kinda bought out the entire Georgia Aquarium to have to ourselves…and it was a magical, emotional evening. I myself look to nature and the ocean especially, to bring back into perspective how small my problems really are. They’re literally NOTHING in comparison to the magnanimous beauty of nature. I wanted the team to feel the calm and power of what it’s like to be under the sea.

I said it in the video but I’ll say it again. As an ocean lover and diver, aquariums are extremely conflicting for me. One one hand…since it’s already there…I HOPE they inspire people to learn more about the ocean and want to protect it (that night one of our team members said they wanted to get scuba certified bc of this experience!) but on the other hand, I do not think any animal - land or sea - should be held captive.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this recap of day 2! Gonna get immediately started on day 3, the finale! Trying to go as fast as I can between meetings and well, actually trying to sleep!

#TravelDiary 🇰🇪: Growing up in the Philippines, The Lion King was one of my favorite Disney movies. If I told my younger self that I would one day visit Africa and see all of these animals in real life, I never would have believed it 🥹

So wandering through an actual safari is a childhood dream come to life! 🦁

#TravelDiary 🇨🇦: We came back to Emerald Lake to canoe and it was a workout 😅 But it was all worth it cause of the views 🏔️

Definitely recommend going here for canoeing because it’s much cheaper than Moraine Lake and Lake Louise plus a nice mountainous back drop 🛶
