Friday marked the beginning of something incredibly special 🙌

Studio Retro officially opened its doors—and the turnout, support, and love completely blew me away.

From the flowers and kind words to the tattoo & piercing pop-up (shoutout to the amazing @aldentattoos & @adornedbyamelia from @jane_doe_tx), every moment reminded me why I started this.

Endless thanks to my incredible husband @jamesvandamme19 and dear friends like @mlorrainea for spending her day off painting with me, @_susanhannah for the coolest prop additions like the rotary phone, my sweet siblings and niece @fanniemae05 @josie.thomas_ for sending me the biggest most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever seen, and so many more to mention for their kindness and time simply showing up, as well as incredible emotional support (@alpal918 @danielle.on.insta @everlasting.elizabeth @willowandsage.esthetics @threesunsphototx @latiaguerra_photography TOO MANY TO TAG LOL), and helping bring this vision to life—your help, encouragement, and time meant everything.

This dream wouldn’t exist without you. My heart is so full, and the best is only beginning ✨

Turns out I just needed a sleepover with my gal pals and favorite models! 📸🤍✨ Just landed back in Dallas, and can’t believe this was just last Friday, when we were having the time of my lives with the very short but fun-packed trip we took to @carltonlanding! • We stayed at the cutest cottage called Beck’s Bungalow by @crewscottage while capturing content of all the fun happening in CL 🤍 My besties @everlasting.elizabeth + @danielle.on.insta were sweet enough to drive 3 1/2 hours both ways after work for just a little over 12 hours in Carlton Landing, and when I tell you we made the absolute MOST out of it, we really outdid ourselves! • Can’t wait to share more of the action and lifestyle moments in this beautiful lakeside place! 📸🌊✨

Remember when what you’re doing now was only a daydream and you were hungry for it? • Can’t complain about a lot on my plate when the goal was to eat 🙌🍽️📸🎥 Not to fall into that 24/7 hustle mentality though, because it’s actually productive to rest, prioritize, balance and have boundaries. What’s that? I said BOUNDARIES 😂 Something I’m still working on, personally! 🫶 Thank you all for your undying support through these seasons that seem to be flying by the older I get. Seeing my clients grow and invite me back into their lives as I continue to grow too is sooo invaluable and priceless to me. P.S. Consider this cover photo a little sneak peek at my new branding and marking a celebratory milestone in my career that I’ll share more about soon. Shot by an incredible fellow photographer that I had been dying to work with again, and that’s none other than Meme Urbane Photo! 🖤 Cannot wait to share more about what’s been going on lately BTS (all great things, no worries) and the meaning behind these portraits by her in due time! • P.S.S. Holiday Minis in FW tomorrow are BOOKED (thank you!!!) but there’s still availability at the @thewildflowersproductionhouse on 11/17 and one spot that evening at The Lumen Room’s Dallas Home location at 5pm! • DM “Holiday Minis” for more info, and the direct link to booking! 💌
