Being a Mercury Prize judge means more to me than words can say 🤍🤍🤍

I’ve been working as a music journalist since I was 16 (!!) and 10 years on, being involved with the Prize is one of the most meaningful honours of my career. Having overcome my fair share of challenges along the way, being part of a space where my voice is heard and valued has become incredibly important to me.

Last night marked my third year on the panel! Crazy!! It really is the stuff of dreams!!!

It’s a privilege to get to discuss brilliant albums with such passionate and knowledgeable people, who I continue to learn so much from: @mojophilalexander @will.hodgkinson @lea_face @jeffxsmith @danielle__perry @afrodeutsche @mistajam @jamiecullum

And I’m always proud to be representing Wales, alongside my queen @sianeleri 🥰

Huge congratulations to the fabulous RAYE on the win, and thank you to everyone involved x

Still thinking of last night’s Shadowman’s show at Alphabet Brighton. Amazing to hear their debut album (and more) played live and REALLY loud

The Shadowman album has been out a couple of weeks now, and all attention firmly on the launch show on October 21st at @alphabetbrighton with @lastlivingcannibal opening up.

Beautiful venue, great sound, early stage time, extra horns.. we’re so looking forward to it.

Be great to see you. Tickets via @dice link in bio.

We're so thrilled to share one of our latest and most exciting signings to Nightjar Songs: @johnjpresley 🐦‍⬛

The new album SHADOWMAN, co-created with @danielle__perry and @babenhillier, is full of grit, texture and mesmeric songwriting - we love it all.

Catch them live at @alphabetbrighton on 21st October, and in the meantime drop us a line for all sync needs 🔗
