I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start my birthday month. 🥹♎️🏁

My first official 5K race AND I walked away with a new PR! 30:13 | 9:44 pace 🔥

But getting to experience this moment with my sister made it even more special. I truly wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to do this with. ❤️

Starting 33 with new accomplishments, new memories, and proof that I’m capable of so much more than I ever gave myself credit for.

Birthday month, you’re already showing OUT. 🎂✨

First official 5K. New PR. With my sister. Let the birthday festivities begin. 🏁♎️

’Cause this is THRILLERRRRR 😂🧟‍♀️🎶

Okay y’all… WE’RE BACK! 😂🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️

Just two sisters voluntarily running again with absolutely NOWHERE to go and NOBODY chasing us. 😭😂

At this point, we may actually be runners… which is concerning because WHO approved this personality change?! 😂

Anyway, enjoy the pre-run foolishness because somehow this BS keeps ending in PRs. 😂🏃🏾‍♀️💨

THE REAL RUNNERS OF GUILFORD COUNTY 😭😂🏃🏾‍♀️

On today’s episode: Marquia, who is ALREADY sick, decides this is the perfect day to attempt her first 4-mile run.

There was running.
There was regret.
There was VOMITING. 🤮😭
Production should’ve shut this episode DOWN. 😂

But baby… FOUR MILES DONE! 🏃🏾‍♀️🔥

And Strava can argue with itself about that 3.90. I KNOW WHAT I RAN. 😂

Next episode: Marquia discovers rest days. 😭

Ran my first 5K outside with my sister and apparently we’re runners now?! 😭😂🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️

Because why did we voluntarily wake up and run 3.1 miles with absolutely NOWHERE to go?! 😂

3.17 miles. 34:10. 10:45 pace. And somehow we survived, laughed, and finished that thang! 🙌🏾🔥

I’ve been saying running outside is HARD, so this one feels extra good. 🥹

First outdoor 5K with my sis ✅
Next stop: my first official 5K race in November! 🏁

At this point… somebody come get us before we start buying matching running gear and signing up for races every weekend. 😂😂
