🥇 1st PLACE CANADIAN NATIONAL PRO QUALIFIER 🇨🇦🏆

Congratulations #TeamDair athlete @daniellekfurlong for placing 1st in her class at her very first open pro qualifier!

Going into this show we had absolutely zero expectations other than to show up, execute the plan and bring the best package we could. The goal was to put ourselves in the mix and see how we stacked up against some of the best. And she did just that 🔥

Not only did she take home 1st in her class but she battled it out for that pro card and ended up as the runner-up!

This is what happens when you trust the process, stay patient and consistently check every single box. No shortcuts. No missed opportunities. Just commitment to the process and trust in the work she was putting in. And that trust paid off better than she could’ve imagined!

While the pro card wasn’t ours this time, I know it will be her time soon! We got some great feedback so now it’s time to execute and come back next time undeniable 😈💪🏻

So proud of the work you’ve put in and the athlete you’re becoming both physically but mentally. This is only the beginning and I know we’re going to keep improving and bring an even better package next time!

What a weekend!!👑🥇

@daniellekfurlong show weekend was crazy! Driving back and forth to Toronto because I had a wedding to attend, and back the next day for the show!

Anxiety was high, sleep was limited!

Danielle, I’m so very proud of you! This is your best package to date and your smoothest prep! You had poise, confidence, and showed so much calm up on stage! Your day finally came and placed first in your height class and was runner up for the pro card! Your time will come and I’m so excited for what’s next!!

Even though I can’t compete, I love being your stage mom and meeting and seeing all the competitors!🥰

Time to grow girly!!!!🫶🏼💞

HAPPY SHOW DAY!

Today is my sister’s bodybuilding bikini competition in Toronto! She has been working her butt off for several months and now it’s her time to shine on the National stage!!!

Danielle has gotten into audiobooks this year and has crushed Throne Of Glass before I could even finish it! 🎧 She’s still making her way through Threshing Day but she’s got some business to take care of!

LETS GO @daniellekfurlong !!

We see someone farther ahead and suddenly begin questioning our own progress.

But we don’t know where they started, how long they’ve been working, what support they’ve had or what they’ve overcome along the way.

Danielle said it perfectly: no two journeys are the same.

And as I told her, comparison is the thief of joy. It can make us overlook our own growth simply because it doesn’t look like someone else’s.

Learn from people. Be inspired by them. Then bring your attention back to the work in front of you.

Your journey deserves credit, even when it moves at a different pace.

Huge congratulations to my athlete @daniellekfurlong for her 1st place finish at the Golden Prarie Cup last weekend 🏆 👏🏻

This year Danielle was on a mission to unlock her potential and bring the best physique she’s ever brought to the stage and she did EXACTLY that 🔥

Months of intentional work, consistency, patience and trusting the process went into creating this version of her. She left no stones unturned this prep giving it her all with every workout, every meal, every adjustment I gave and every check in. Nothing was missed and when it was time to step on stage she delivered!!

I couldn’t be more proud of the work she put in and the athlete she continues to become. She not only transformed her physique this prep but her mindset as well!

This is what happens when you stop wondering “what if?” and decide to find out just how much potential you can unlock 💪🏻 We’re just getting started and she’s already back at work to bring an even better package to nationals in a few weeks 😈🔥

The Twin That Kind Of Reads📖👯‍♀️

My twin sister @daniellekfurlong has been really loving audiobooks 🎧 lately! She has a busy work schedule and is in a bodybuilding competition prep right now and audiobooks have been her saving grace when she is too tired to 👀 read!

My sister and competed together before I was diagnosed with my CSF leak and I dove into reading as an alternative hobby. That’s why I’m called “Thetwinthatreads” because I had to stop competing and heavy weight training. Now I get to be a stage mom for my sister while I navigate my health!!

Happy reading!
