I’m a little late to re-post but I couldn’t be more proud to have been a part of @davidarchie ‘s newest EP, Earthly Delights. I had the pleasure of writing “Home” with Archie himself, @danielleknibbe, and @bmoralesmusic . Fast forward a little bit and now I got to produce the final track with @benwhiteley and @michaelblummusic … plus, that’s ME on piano and vocal bgs!! It’s rare that a songwriter gets to be so involved, but David is such an incredible person to work with and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be so spoiled. Shout out to @benwhiteley for laying down the bass and guitar, @mixedbysquids for mixing and mastering, and to @cymbamusic for setting up the session in the first place. Onward and upward with more songs and more production projects!! Stay tuned!

Hi everybody!! My new song, “The Things We Don’t Say”, is finally coming out this Wednesday, April the 16th and I can’t freakin wait for you to hear it. I wrote it with my sister from another mister, @danielleknibbe , and it goes out to every awkward nerd like me with a string of unreciprocated, top secret crushes. If you know me at all, you know how much of a @donovanwoods fan I am. He’s my favorite songwriter of all time. In 2023, I was literally in his top 0.05% of listeners on Spotify—pretty embarrassing, really. Ever since my friend @danielleknibbe introduced me to his music, I’ve been obsessed. His songs have made me a better songwriter—they’ve taught me so much about storytelling. He’s the best of the best. And tonight, I got to sing with him. 🥲

This is the second time in my life that I’ve had the chance to sing with one of my idols. I don’t know what I did to deserve such beautiful moments. Seriously.

💜 Finally home after a fabulous fortnight in Alberta!

A HUGE thank you to everyone at @edmontonopera for making my week as a Rumbold Vocal Prize finalist so memorable and enjoyable - I walked away with Second Prize and three new besties. It was a TRUE joy to spend time with @tessafackelmann @theangelomoretti & @ahalhalliday - three incredible people, singers, and sweetie pies. I am proud of all of us and feel that we gave the judges a very difficult task 😉 also big congrats @mariapottle - the biggest slay in the tiniest package!! Watch out world!!! ❤️

I’ve always said it, and I’ll say it again: music is not a competition. That said, I’m truly honored to receive recognition from the Canadian Folk Music Awards. As a French Canadian who’s now mostly touring in the U.S., I often feel like I don’t truly belong anywhere… it’s been a struggle throughout my whole career. This nomination means a lot to me. On top of that, I’m alongside some wonderful friends, incredible women who have kicked ass all year. Congrats, my friends. We’re all winners, nominee or not. xx G

“Golden,” my fourth album, is out today. I’ve always been transparent with my fans, and I’m sure many of you noticed through my social media that the last year has been really difficult on a personal level. I endured and eventually left an abusive relationship, and working on this album became my sanctuary, my safe space. It’s an extremely special record for me. Releasing these songs into the world feels like I’m finally turning a heavy, dark page of my life. A big weight has been lifted off my shoulders today. These songs truly saved me during the hardest times of my life, and I hope they can do the same for you.
