La recompensa perfecta del viernes la tuvimos en el Mercat de Tramuntana.

Después de rodar por la costa oeste, no pudo haber mejor final: sus increíbles hamburguesas y todo el equipo esperándonos con la mejor de sus sonrisas. ¡Gracias por hacernos sentir siempre como en casa!

Still overwhelmed. 700 km | 11'000 hm | 47:15 h. First woman, fifth overall.

I decided to ride @termes_53 to prepare for later events — but it turned out to be one hell of a highlight in its own right.

In the first night I slept for 2.5 hours. On the second day the suffering was real — but recovering before the night gave me everything to bring it straight home.

🍹🍼🧃 Despite the fatigue, I never lost the punch in my legs. The secret? WINFORCE. I carried about 3 kg of resupply from the start ➡️ best decision. 💌 PM me if you want to know more.

🚲🎡⚙️ My KOBA crosstool was the perfect choice. I was glad to bring some MTB skills — especially for the nightly descents, which were an absolute blast. SENAR wheels equipped me with a wheelset that turned my bike into a flying carpet, paired with CST tires that balanced performance and grip perfectly.

💼🧳👜 I used a relative lean setup, which took me quite a bit coutage. however Tekmax Components delivered compeltly.

🧈🍑🧴 Almost two days in the saddle without sacrificing the skin on your butt? Absolutely possible — thanks to Island Smoothride and FASTER wear. I honestly don't think I've ever come home feeling this fresh. 🙂

🎎🤼🤴🏼 So many great souls out there — not just among the riders, but especially in the organisation. 💣💥👊Booooom!

Un año más formando parte de esta fiesta del ciclismo y ya van ocho 🙈👵🏻. Muchos preparativos para llegar aquí y poder mostrar, como cada año, nuestra mejor versión.

Tener la oportunidad de rencontrarte con viejos amigos, conocer nuevos, hablar con ciclistas de otros paises, compartir risas con los otros “feriantes” y pasar un buen rato con amigos es para mi la verdadera magia de este evento.

Gracias a todos los que habéis venido a saludar y pasar un ratito con nosotros, vosotros sois los que hacéis que todo esfuerzo merezca la pena 🫶.

QUE ES EL ESPECTACULO DEL OCHO? Dos veces al año, la casualidad hace que un haz de luz del sol naciente atraviese el rosetón mayor, crucé la nave y se proyecte su reflejo en la pared de delante,justo debajo del rosetón opuesto de la fachada principal. El resultado es espectacular, una explosión de color gracias a las 1.116 piezas de cristal que componen el vitral mayor de la Seu de Mallorca. Durante un pequeño período de tiempo, unos cinco minutos en total, se refleja uno sobre otro, formando un doble rosetón, de vidrio y de luz, similar a un ocho de luz. Por ello, a este fenómeno se le conoce como el Espectáculo del Ocho.

WHAT IS THE SPECTACLE OF THE EIGHT? Twice a year, by chance a beam of light from the rising sun passes through the main rose window, crosses the nave and is projected onto the wall in front, just below the opposite rose window on the main façade. The result is spectacular, an explosion of colour thanks to the 1,116 pieces of glass that make up the main stained glass window of the Seu de Mallorca. For a short period of time, about five minutes in total, one is reflected onto the other, forming a double rose window, made of glass and light, similar to an eight of light. For this reason, this phenomenon is known as the Spectacle of the Eight.
