We're dropping a second video from our Audiotree session in Chicago, this time featuring The Equable from our last EP.

Our full session is on YouTube, and we'd love to know: which song was your favorite?

Still can't believe we got to be part of something like this.

Thank you @austinisaac and @audiotree

On the fourth and final day of @isola_rock it was @persefoneband who claimed the spotlight for the closing remarks of the festival, with a performance that enthralled everyone, full of power, energy and passion. Let’s get into detail about what happened on May 10 at Isola della Scala.

The set was somewhat constrained, as unfortunately only four members took the stage; yet even with pre-recorded keyboard and bass tracks and, most importantly, with no clean vocalist at all, Persefone managed to leave the whole audience speechless with a colossal show that overcame those adversities. The absolute king of the stage was @danielrflys, with an outstanding and more than impressive performance; the harsh vocals were always on point and delivered with extreme passion and energy, and completely captivated the audience. On the drums, Sergi Verdeguer was likewise blazing, as one would expect from a progressive death metal act. But of course the guitars couldn’t just stand and watch, as @carlitos_persefone and @filipebaldaia provided the backbone of the concert with melodies and solos. The former delivered an impeccable performance, with a very clean sound, while the latter was on point throughout the show, even enduring a guitar strap failure, and performed his signature move of centering a circled pit. Speaking of the public, it’s no surprise everyone was extremely pumped; the whole band did their best to create a welcoming and at the same time explosive atmosphere.

As for the setlist, the band mainly explored material from Lingua Ignota, Aathma and Spiritual Migration, with very little space for old music. The choice of songs could be ultimately influenced by the fixed duration of the concert, this being of course a festival. Regarding the acoustics, as with Threshold nothing bad could be said, and the overall enjoyment of the show was further increased by the ambience of the Palariso. So while it’s due to thank the band for delivering an amazing performance, it’s also due once again to thank the organizers of @isola_rock for putting up such an amazing festival.

After almost a month being home and recovering, we can finally share the first part of our North America tour (w/ @darktranquillityofficial and @soenmusic ) documentary.

We say "first part" because we honestly don't know if there will be more, these things take us a long time to put together, but we really hope so. Either way, we hope you enjoy it.
