Had a blast at the Loop plaza opening ceromony!!! A huge milestone that will impact not just around the Victory District but also the connection of 3 trails to go around the City of Dallas along with a @dartdaily light rail station nearby (Connection Orange, Green and TRE lines) as well as the Upcomming @bikemartstores which hopefully I will attending the opening. As Transit Master of DFW, this isnt must about the 3'Cs (Community, Collaboration, Commitment) that impact everyone but also the moment when vision, ideas, and advocacy combine to one to make it a reality where its possible to get around without a car. As a daily E-Bike Commuter that uses Katy Trail, this will not benefit the trial itself to have a vitual hub of live, eat, play but also the message that there exists walkability, bikeability, and also a skatable trails and more to come where the city of Dallas is not only a car centric city but also for all kinds of transportation modes. A city should welcome all modes of travel, thats what makes it a diverse, vitual, and vibe city. Be on the lookout for @nbcdfw news on the loop plaza and again huge congratulations @theloopdallas on a successful project ended with a great turnout for the community as as @dallasbicyclecoalition for their advicacy contribution towards a bikeable Dallas.

{ Everyday life and the permissions I’m giving myself. } October 7 through 11: Permission to listen to myself. 📍 @create_atelier { Permission to listen to myself } 🎨 October 7 · Be an artist 👑 October 8 · Feel valued ✈️ October 9 · Let it land 🍣 October 10 · Let the day unfold 🧠 October 11 · Change my mind What have you been feeling that you want to listen to? 📍 @laviestylehouse October 7 { BE AN ARTIST }
People know me as a photographer and entrepreneur because that’s where my focus has been for the last decade. This year, I’m buying myself back from the company, making more time for my own work. I’ve always been an artist, but I’m finally finding words for the kind I am. My medium is attention. I practice it daily, changing forms through Monthly Receipts, part of my lifelong project, Proof of Life. 🎨 Permission to be an artist.
 📍 @kesslerstudios October 8 { FEEL VALUED } I love getting to know our city through the people building it. Today took me from a new business opening to portraits of a longtime client ahead of a major Texas real estate sale, then to the Business Council for the Arts. I kept running into people I’ll be photographing soon. 👑 Permission to feel valued. 📍 @kesslerstudios @exxircapital @bcatexas October 9 { LET IT LAND } A few kind messages came in today. One woman said she rarely likes photos of herself, but she loved these. Others said I made the process easy and how thankful they were for the photos. My eighth grade art teacher even saw a possible book in my Pantone project. Their words gave me a little burst of energy to film the ordinary: Daniel and I talking by the typewriter collection and cleaning the studio. ✈️ Permission to let it land. 📍 @kesslerstudios @danielrockeyx October 10 { LET THE DAY UNFOLD } We blocked off the whole day to be together. Having that much open time in our own city felt a little odd at first. Breakfast at @encinadallas turned into our friends’ Hyphen Space pop up and shopping in Bishop Arts. Daniel got his first bracelet, and I got my first leather bound journal. At home, we moved between our hobbies, staying near each other while I journaled and decluttered and he worked on his 3

{ Rich in life because we’re rich in love } Daniel and I are two people who will never run out of things to be curious about or things to make. He has the kindest heart, a lethal sense of humor, and a way of seeing life at high resolution. I love building a life and a body of work with him. I feel like a woman racing to meet herself before our lives change in couple of years. We’re changing a little every day, making room for who we’ll become. But I don’t want to spend this whole chapter getting ready for the next one. I want to know us as we are now, in the life we’ve already made. 🤍

{ @chettripper } Thirty years of eating at the same pho spot, and now I get to show it to the rest of Texas. 📺 I’m a special guest on Season 17 of The Daytripper with Chet Garner, representing Garland’s Vietnamese community and taking him to my favorite pho place. 🍜 Episode airs this October and I can’t wait for y’all to see it. @kathytran.eats x @kathytranx

{ July: Play } I thought play was something you did when the work was done. Turns out, play is how I found my way back into the work. 31 days. 31 Playbook pages. 2 Play Labs. No requirement for any of it to become useful. I collaged every day. I asked my dreams questions. I played with light. I made things seriously and made things for no reason at all. Somewhere in there, a 15-minute practice changed the texture of my life. What I learned: willpower is weaker than design. I didn’t need to become more disciplined. I needed to make returning easier. Maybe that’s what play gave me: a way back in.

I had the chance to join @kathytranx for a series she calls ‘PlayLab’ at @kesslerstudios I am working on tapping into videography so I created this BTS while we set up the first scene. It was fun working with everyone and I’m looking forward to joining another time! I really needed this ☺️ Should I drop my photos next? 💄: @laura_oliver_dallas 💖: @annastone.s 📸: @danielrockeyx @michael.mf.tran

Had tons of fun working with @kathytranx on this iteration of her Play Lab series. It’s one of those shoots where everyone got to be creative, have fun and learn a lot in the process. Included is some BTS of us using water to refract light and create interesting images.

{ Week 2 of Kessler Play Lab } A little behind the scenes by @danielrockeyx It’s less about creating the “perfect” image and more about creating the conditions to explore. We keep each group small and intimate so everyone has the space to participate, experiment, and make something together. Also… I’ve had so many people reach out asking how they can join. Thank you! 🤍 I’m working on a simple sign-up process for future Play Labs. More soon 🎥 @danielrockeyx 📸 @kathytranx @michael.mf.tran 📍 @kesslerstudios 🐟 @annastone.s 💄 @laura_oliver_dallas

{ Beautiful chaos. } Red doesn’t whisper.
It moves.
It transforms.
It demands to be felt. The first chapter of Play Lab. Keep an eye out for an open call on the next round 😉 Photographer: @kathytranx | @andrewbobbitt Video: @danielrockeyx Models: @mollymargaretdesigner | @victoriajameson Makeup: @mollymargaretdesigner Studio: @kesslerstudios

{ Marfa, Texas } I first came to Marfa on my 21st birthday to photograph a beautiful couple’s elopement. Returning all these years later, I came to observe. To wander. To remember why places like this stay with you. Sometimes the best trips aren’t about seeing more. They’re about seeing differently.

{ June: Rest } This month I gave my mind places to go instead of telling it to be quiet. My subconscious got an operations log. 28 dreams captured. Questions filed nightly. My conscious mind got a library. 36 objects. 7 shelves. Everything I metabolized. What I learned: rest isn’t the absence of activity it’s the absence of obligation. The Builder didn’t stop. That was never the point. I misspelled catalogue. 😅
