Jews should no longer feel the need to hide their identity or remain silent in the face of antisemitism. With the State of Israel as the Jewish homeland and freedom of speech in the United States, Jewish communities have the power to stand tall, speak out and challenge efforts to demonize Israel. Whether in Israel or the diaspora, Jewish families share the same hopes for their children: safety, freedom and a future without fear.

Three years after October 7, many argue it became clear that Israel was never the final target, but the front line of a broader ideological struggle. As the Middle East changed, the anniversary itself became a battleground in the West, with critics warning that antisemitism and anti-Israel narratives have spread far beyond the region. After FlyDubai Flight FZ1073’s captain was attacked and the Israel-bound aircraft plunged thousands of feet, a remarkable chain of events helped avert disaster: Captain Smit Machchhar managed to open the cockpit despite his injuries; Israeli passengers rushed in and subdued the attacker; plumber Yaniv Hayun helped steady the controls using knowledge he says he remembered from an aviation-disaster TV show; Dr. Shota Musayev treated the badly wounded captain; and off-duty pilots aboard helped bring the aircraft safely to Saudi Arabia.
