Three months ago I decided to start a series called Driver Stories. It’s turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made for 9caars. Hundreds of kilometres on Irish roads. Early mornings, tripods in the rain, long chats in garages and car parks. Hours of editing, 5 episodes. And some of the best people I’ve ever met on this island. What I’ve always wanted to do is understand how cars touch people’s lives. Not the specs, not the numbers, but the people behind them. The Saturdays, the fathers and sons, an 18 year old behind the wheel of a car three times his age, the years of patience, the reasons a car becomes part of who someone is. And then tell those stories the best way I know how, through visual storytelling. Getting to start that here in Ireland, small and a second home, means a lot to me. A huge thank you to everyone who opened their garage, their stories and their time to me: @kennedy.motors @danielsullivan74 @duffymgb @honest_classics @mark_m_cosgrove Cars have always played a huge role in my life. I know they do in yours too. This is only the beginning. Ireland first, then everywhere. Wherever there’s a car that changed someone’s life, I want to be there with a camera. More soon.

Another Caffeine & Octane show completed 😎 I think we were all a little nervous after last week’s rain showers, but thankfully the Irish weather blessed us with clear skies and plenty of sunshine, holding off the rain for the day. A massive thank you to everyone who came along and brought out their stunning cars. Once again, we were treated to an incredible collection, from @morgancarsni beautiful P1 and Senna to a fully kitted-out Manthey 992 GT3 RS, a fleet of Italian supercars, and, of course, a feast of German performance saloons. 😍 We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to @cartell.ie for sponsoring the event, our fantastic team of marshals who did a brilliant job managing traffic throughout the day, @hiredirect_ for providing barriers and @caferocksalt and @thebrewcrewcafe for keeping everyone fed and watered. Another fantastic morning out at the Brewery complete!
