About Him.. Daniel ✨

Even a professional footballer gets a few pre-match—or pre-ceremony—jitters. Daniel was a little out of his element getting into the suit at first, but that honest nervousness just showed how much this day meant. Once things started flowing, he settled right in.

Daniel and Mila are just the absolute perfect fit. 🤍

About Them.. Finding His Calm ✨
We all know Daniel is a pro on the field, but like many grooms, he needed a second to settle into the day. And the second he grabbed Mila's hand, you could visibly see him relax. It's like she is his home base. Walking into this golden sunset together, they just fit. The dynamic between them is effortless.

Continuing their story... Love often finds its truest expression in quietness. Inside the quiet reverence of this grand church in Novelda, watching Daniël and his bride lean into each other away from the entire world felt like pure poetry. True romance doesn't need noise, especially when you are standing beside someone who keeps you entirely grounded. ❤️⛪️

When this lovely couple first reached out to us, we just knew they were two souls deeply in love, ready to say forever. We always take every love story into our hearts with pure intention. But on the wedding day itself, when Daniël so simply mentioned he was a professional football player from the Netherlands, it caught us by surprise. To see someone with that kind of spotlight be so effortlessly humble, so completely focused on the love of his life... it made moments like this spin by the fountain at Casa Imas feel even more magical. ✨🤍

🗓 Fri. 01-05-2026, 20h00 - Dutch Keuken Kampioen Promotion Play-Offs 1st Round (2nd tier), 2nd Leg
🇳🇱 Mandemakers Stadion (7.186)
📍 Akkerlaan 2, 5143 ND Waalwijk
🎫 5.892 spectators
♻️ 2nd visit

🏟 RKC Waalwijk - Roda JC Kerkrade, 1-1 aet (agg. 2-2, pen. 3-1)
⚽️ 52' A. van den Hurk 0-1, 90'+7' J. Uneken 1-1

⚽️ RKC Waalwijk survived a tense night to reach the next round in the Promotion Play-Offs after a 1-1 draw on the night and 2-2 on aggregate. The home team held their nerve from the spot to advance 3-1 on penalties.

Roda JC struck first, not long after the break. It was Anthony van den Hurk who finished clinically after an assist from Müller to put the visitors in front. RKC tried and pushed but had to wait for literally the last second of the stoppage time when substitute Jesper Uneken smashed the equalizer in the back of Roda's net.

Extra time brought tension rather than chances. Both sides looked exhausted, both fearing the mistake that would end their season. With the score still tied after 120 minutes the match moved to penalties.

RKC Waalwijk converted all 3 of theirs while Roda JC faltered. The last one of Beerten hitting the crossbar and sending the home team towards the next round and a derby against Willem II Tilburg.

🏟 Opened in 1996, the Mandemakers Stadion replaced RKC's old Sportpark Olympia and immediately became a symbol of the club's rise into the Eredivisie. With a capacity of 7.186 it's one of the smallest top-flight stadiums in the country but that size is exactly what gives it its character with supporters close to the pitch.
The stadium is named after a major kitchen and furniture company headquartered in Waalwijk and long-time partner of the club, De Mandemakers Groep.
