Training 5 days a week means nothing if you’re neglecting what happens outside the gym.

You spend 10 hours sitting through meetings, barely move throughout the day, and sacrifice sleep just to get more done.

Then wonder why your physique isn’t reflecting the work you’re putting in.

You can’t expect 45 minutes in the gym to make up for how you treat your body the other 23 hours.

Daily steps and quality sleep aren’t temporary fixes.

They’re standards you maintain YEAR-ROUND.

One thing I’ve realized is that you can genuinely want better for yourself and still be stuck in an environment that’s keeping you the same.

And sometimes it’s not even bad people. It’s good people who just don’t have the same hunger, the same standards, or the same vision for their lives.

And that’s okay. But you have to understand how much that rubs off on you.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the responsibility I have as a leader. Because the last thing I want is for LWM to become just another fitness program where people lose 20 pounds and that’s the end of it.

I want people to come into our environment and start thinking differently. Speaking differently. Holding themselves accountable. Building relationships with people who aren’t afraid to tell them what they NEED to hear.

And I want that for myself too. I need people around me who challenge me. Who don’t let me get comfortable just because things are going well.

I’m not interested in building something that just looks good on Instagram.

I want to build something that actually changes people’s lives. Mine included.

That’s the bigger picture behind all of this.

As I made my way up, I couldn’t help but think of the woman who once wept in her bed after surgery. The woman who couldn’t turn her neck or walk for five minutes without the pain becoming so unbearable that she had to turn around.

I wish I could go back and tell her that one day, she would make it to the top.

“In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” — Romans 8:37

By the grace of God, two and a half years later, I’m here. Still healing, still growing, and choosing You every day, Father. You’ve taught me that healing isn’t just about getting my strength back..it’s about surrendering my life to You and learning to walk in the fullness of Your living water.

The journey wasn’t easy, and I’m still becoming. But today, I get to look back at the woman who once wondered if she’d ever feel like herself again and thank God for carrying her this far.

WE MADE IT TO THE TOP!⛰️⛰️

All glory to You, Father. This body, this life, this testimony…they’re Yours.💌

A day spent connecting, challenging ourselves, and building a community of like-minded people who are all on the same mission to become better.

More than fitness. It’s about the people you surround yourself with and choose to elevate alongside.

People who push you, encourage you, challenge you, and remind you that growth is better when you don’t have to do it alone.

Grateful for everyone who came out and continues to make this community what it is!
