Sometime in 2024, before we got married, we had a long conversation about the kind of life we hoped to build together.

Not a perfect life. Just a meaningful one.

We talked about simple things: taking drives with no real destination, exploring new places, watching movies together, cooking, fixing things around the house, and having the kind of conversations that make you forget how long the drive has been.

Somewhere in those conversations we kept coming back to one word: Providence. Why, because we wouldn’t stop talking about how providential meeting each other has been and the quiet belief that God is the one guiding the story of our lives; even in the small, ordinary moments.

This page isn’t about being influencers or chasing attention. It’s simply our little corner of the internet to save memories and remember the life we’re building together.

The road trips.
The car conversations.
The movie nights.
The book nights.
The everyday moments at home.

A small archive of the story God is writing with us.

Maybe one day we’ll look back at these moments and smile at how it all began.

One year after, we tasted unfamiliar territories of who we are and who we are becoming and in all of it,I am here to say God can be trusted.

20 Slides of what looks like a year, is not a enough to tell the story of how God has been faithful to us, for someone that marriage was not in view for last year, God really played a number on me(story for another day😂),but I can tell you that getting married to my husband even when I didn’t feel ready is one of the best decisions of my life.

To my forever lover, cheers to forever of God’s unending blessings, peace, love, joy and walking boldly in God’s timing for our lives.

To my baby daddy, My husband, My guyest guy🤗.

Thank you for being such an amazing Dad, husband and friend.

Recapping my pregnancy journey as a FTM you held it down through and through, made all my meals, learnt new recipes for my sake and Adriel,Followed me to every antenatal , told me everyday how beautiful I looked even though I couldn’t recognize who I was becoming because of Bell’s palsy caused by the pregnancy , stayed with me through the entire birth process, chia na man you be🙌🏽

See the thing is, you are a great partner but much more than that you are a great dad as well. Watching you embrace fatherhood with such grace and dedication fills me with so much joy. Our son is so blessed to call you Dad, you are such an incredible role model- a true testament of love, patience, resilience and kindness.

Thank you for leading the Ohida’s clan we are so blessed to have as the captain.
