Independent Shop Feature

Brightside Skate Supply
@brightsideskatesupply

Waterloo, ON

The shop opened by Ryan McDonough (@dunnashreds) due to a lack of brick and mortar shops in the tri-city region. Physical shops are a hub for the community and essential to the existence and growth of skateboarding.

Ryan has worked in the skateboard and snowboard industry since 1996 as a sales rep and shop owner. He loves skateboarding and how much it has given to his life. He's a great leader in our community and gives back that joy to the people in the skate community. Support the shop and his team.

Team riders :
Ben Buchanauer, Kobe Cressman, Phil Crich, Cole Cullen, Tamas Katona, Tommy Letson, Dan Maloney, Byron Ready, Luke Schering, Arto Sousa, Ariel Stagni, and Isaac Watamaniuk

WE SALUTE YOU!!!!

Thanks for being RADICAL

Thanks to funds from the City of Guelph’s Youth Climate Action Fund and support from our local partners and volunteers, on Sunday we were able to donate 28 skateboards, helmets and introductory lessons to kids in Guelph’s Onward Willow neighbourhood at our first ‘Get On Board’ event! A special shout-out goes to our friends and all the organizations who helped extend invites across their networks lending their support to welcome more new skaters into our skateboarding community!
