heavy on “I COULDNT DO IT SO YOU DID IT FOR ME”

i locked in with the Lord for six months and he did his big one! ✨ these last six months have been weighty!!! being set apart will cost you something and walking in what God has called you to won’t always feel easy buuut i’ve seen Him do more in, through, and around me than i could’ve EVER imagined when i first said yes🤯

a few months later, i’m realizing this was never about making it through a season buuut truly about becoming more like Jesus for others for the rest of my life. STILL praying for my sanctification DAILY! and choosing obedience when i don’t want to😙

six months down. a lifetime left to go 🤍✨ THANNNK YEWWW JESUS!

Today was a truly amazing Sunday…. It marked our first Sunday in our new building for #ElevationRaleigh! I got to see people I had not seen in a long time. I look forward to all the memories we will make in the future! Let’s go!

to the campus that literally RAISED me, the staff that used time they didn’t have to - to help develop me into the woman i am NOW, but most importantly to God who never gave up on me and sent me people who cared enough to say “she’s worth the fight”

i am so thankful for the Raleigh Campus and all God is doing through the city! March 29, 2026 will forever go down in history but as @_angel_marin_ would say “it was never about the building” and honestly FACTS! i value people and the intentional care they need and that’s what i pray Raleigh will continue to be about! i now get to love my HOME from a distance and use my gifts and grow in charlotte with UC🧡 but i hold this city, the people, and campus so close and dearly to my heart🤍🤍

The very first team I served on was in 2015 - The Welcome Team (now known as Connections - see the first pic!) I stepped all the way out of my comfort zone, and at the same time, all the way into obedience, purpose, and calling. It was a place where I knew I couldn’t do it all by myself, I needed Jesus to meet me halfway, and when He did, He grew me, He showed me how He wanted to work through me, and He taught me so much about myself, and about Him, and ultimately He has shown me over and over again how He will use ordinary people to build His church.

11 years later, my seat looks a little different and today I got to witness the amazing leadership of 4 incredible people: Solomon, Keisha, Brittani, and Daniela as they hosted the Connections Team Kickoff - a Saturday full of training, culture, alignment, fun, and community.

This team is top notch. They are some of the first people you see when you attend @elevation.raleigh … and they don’t hold that responsibility lightly. They are passionate and bold about making sure every guest feels seen and known, that every new relationship with Jesus is pointed to a next step, and they serve in excellence - giving Him the glory every step of the way.

This crew is a part of the core who will take us into this next season of being planted in our city as we launch our permanent building. I can’t think of any better of a crew to get to do this with. 🧡

20 YEARS OF MINISTRY & I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR 3 SO FAR! 🤍🤍

i am so thankful for our pastor’s (@stevenfurtick @hollyfurtick ) obedience to their calling and their YES! if it wasn’t for them and the Lord, i would not have made these beautiful relationships! the Lord has been so faithful to me because even when i wanted to give up, i still gave him my YES and he gave me strength through it all and STILL is!

from just attending to leading YTH/YA, serving, community, eGroups, and so much more!

the roots i planted in Raleigh - he is now using me in Charlotte and i’m on an assignment! i can’t wait to see how many more lives and families are impacted in the next 20 years and on just like me! i love my church downnnn🧡 i could post & tag EVERYONE but here are a few!!

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. And I wish I could tag every single person serving in Guest Experience at Elevation Raleigh. 🥹

So thankful for these teams: the ones who served today, on Christmas Eve, and the ones not pictured. You show up with joy, excellence, and heart, and because of that, people walk in and instantly feel seen, known, and welcomed. You don’t just serve together; you love each other like family.

This year, I’ve had the honor of watching so many of you grow and step boldly into your callings; sometimes before you felt ready, sometimes when it felt scary or you felt unqualified. And yet, you said yes anyway. And God has been so faithful in every step.

Tonight, you didn’t just fill roles; you created moments that people will remember. Moments where someone felt at home. Moments that reminded someone they matter. Moments God will use in ways we may never fully see.

I’m so proud and honored to lead this team. What a privilege. Thank you for serving with your whole hearts this year. 🤟🧡
