I got to help my best friend Dani and her husband Jonny purchase their first home today, and this one meant a lot to me.

From knowing them when they were dating to seeing them get married, and now helping them buy a home together, it’s been pretty special to be part of their lives over the past few years.

Thank you both for trusting me. I can’t wait to see how you make this house your own home. Cheers to this new chapter!! Mavi is going to love it 🐾

A big thank you to Matthew Burnham with New American Funding for all your help getting us to closing.

Love you guys. Congratulations on your new home! 🍾🔑

2025 asked me to slow down and pay attention. To the moments that mattered, the people who showed up, and the work that quietly changed me along the way. It wasn’t flashy, but it was full, and it stretched me in ways I didn’t even realize I needed.

This was my first full year with Peterson & Co., and it became a year of real growth. I was trusted by more families than ever before, four times more than the year prior, each one placing confidence in me during some of the biggest decisions of their lives. That trust meant everything, and it pushed me to show up with more intention, more care, and more heart than ever.

That same year of growth carried into my personal life too. I met new people, strengthened existing friendships, and stayed grounded in the relationships that have always mattered most to me. I rebuilt connections with family, spent more intentional time together, and learned how important it is to stay present, even when life feels busy.

Along the way, life brought both joy and loss. Celebrating new beginnings while navigating goodbyes reminded me how closely those moments sit beside each other. They taught me gratitude, perspective, and how to hold space for both without rushing past either.

I also found myself again in the quieter moments. Running. Woodworking. Golfing. Hiking. Piano. Letting my mind slow down. And then came Dobby, my first dog, who somehow managed to teach me patience, responsibility, and unconditional love all at once.

Through all of it, I learned that growth doesn’t always come from pushing harder, but from listening more closely. From staying aligned. From choosing to care deeply and still move forward with confidence.

As I step into 2026, I’m focused, grounded, and grateful. Ready to continue growing, continue learning, and continue helping families through every season of life with intention and heart.

Here’s to what’s next, and to becoming more ourselves along the way. 🫶🏽
