We had a blast celebrating Mr and Mrs SEMROW! It was a beautiful ceremony and celebration full of smiles, laughs, tears, and so much love. Could not be happier for two of the best humans I know. Just two incredible humans I got to meet through volleyball. Dani and I first met at UW-Milwaukee when she was playing club volleyball where I got to be inspired by her setting and her serving #shockers. I was very blessed to spend weekend tournaments seeing Mary Kay and Steve cheering on their baby girl. Fast forward through years of hanging out and spending time with Dani and Jake and we got to celebrate the love they’ve created since that day. Wishing you both the best and excited to celebrate you both for many years to come.

Show some love and appreciation for how stunning Aileen was last night! Compliments from friends and strangers all night long on her rocking the dress and I got props for just having a matching tie! I am so lucky to have the most beautiful wedding date by my side. Was great catching up with old UWM friends and seeing the volleyball crew outside the court, I can’t say enough how much I love and appreciate the sport of volleyball and the community it has brought to me. Just feeling especially grateful for Aileen, Dani, Jake and the support and family we’ve all built within the volleyball community, it’s truly something special.

Everyone go wish the best to Mr. And Mrs. Semrow for tying the knot!

PLAYER FEATURE: RHIANNON 🏐

If you’ve been around the volleyball scene, you’ve probably seen Rhiannon doing what she does best: passing dimes, hyping up her teammates, and making the game look effortless. She picked up a volleyball at 11 years old and never put it down.

She started at St. John the Evangelist School, played club with Wisconsin Juniors through age 18, held down a varsity spot all four years at Pius XI High School, and kept grinding through four years of collegiate volleyball at Brescia University in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Her favorite format? Women’s fours.
“I just wanna PASS!!! LOL”

But what really stands out to Rhiannon is the community.
“My favorite thing about Volley Life is the strong and supportive atmosphere. A supportive community uplifts, empowers, and reminds us we’re never alone. When people are surrounded by kindness, understanding, and a shared purpose, they become the best versions of themselves—and that’s the true heart of a thriving community.”

FUN FACT:
Rhiannon has a twin sister, Taryn, who played volleyball with her all the way up until college. “She’s always been my biggest supporter and constantly pushes me to do my best.”

Oh, and if you catch playing, chances are she’s running triples with Dani Savignac and Brooke Schumacher, her favorite crew play with!
