Enquanto você vive tudo, a gente registra.

This last year and a half, I’ve been incredibly lucky to have the opportunity of many of you trusting me to develop big projects, some on the tummy (auch!), others full arm sleeves and also full back pieces going down the legs (which now I can also join the club and know how the bum hurts! i’m sorry!) 🤍

Soooo, me and @ritapessoa__________ aka my partner in making them come true as my assistant, the one who’s talking with you from start until the day of your appointment, came together to give you a proper guide on what to actually expect and prepare for when you’re committing to a bigger project.

Spoiler: preparation is half the tattoo.

How to come prepared (the short version):
✺ Know (roughly) what you want, or what you don’t want. Both are a starting point
✺ Gather references before reaching out.
✺ Hydrate your skin for at least a week before. Soft skin = smoother session.
✺ Eat a proper meal. Show up rested. Skip the wine (and other goodies too) the night before.
✺ Clear your schedule for recovery. A big session needs downtime after, not a hike through the Alps.
✺ Be upfront about pain tolerance, your cycle, your headspace. It helps us help you.
✺ Trust the process and trust your artist. That’s what makes a big project actually work.

Big projects are a collaboration. The more honest and prepared you come, the better for everyone.

We will always be available to answer any questions that might be concerning you and work on it alongside.

Is a full piece something that you’ve ever thought about or do you prefer to collect stamps?

Let us know if you’ve any questions 💫
