I’m so pleased to be featured in the latest edition of @songwritingmagazine where I discussed my approach to songwriting with @mr_raffles . The article is focussed on The Darkest Sunrise which was released earlier this year and features photography from @danjamesshort which was captured at the launch gig for the single.

Songwriting Magazine is dedicated to the craft of writing music and the latest issue is available here:

A huge thank you to every person involved in making “Easy Come” happen!

As with all creative endeavours, it takes a village to bring a piece of work to life.

To my co-writer @jxckfruit_ for the music
To @hushodjamusic @bassic_esme @danjamesshort @elliotmayte.plays for playing and developing the track
To @stephxcarter for the preproduction and recording support
To @ollliebrightman and @marshall studios
To @riffsandbeards for the incredible mix/master

And special mentions to @vinylvisionsby_kia @zak_fitzsimons06_ @megan_devereux & social mediates Pete for all the incredible support.

Here’s a little look at my Thursday gig shooting @liamcromby in Camden. With a couple of my favourite shots. Excited to see what’s in the future for these guys!

In the day I shot a lot on the Fuji xf10 and for gig itself, we were back onto the Sony! 📸

“Ok so you’re going for egg?”

Out of context, normal human chats with @pixelaffiliate as we try out some new things at Studio 8. Solo tour is not on the horizon anytime soon.

Post cards from a lesson in rhythm 🥁

Sax, nylon y vibe

A combination of the whole process feat. @billrandallmusic who was the studio assistant for the day, a very good one at that!

I thought I’d introduce myself properly☺️

✨ Hey, I’m Kia!📸

I’m a unserious, ADHD riddled, self-taught photographer based in Northamptonshire, with a huge love for music and live events.

My passion is photographing live music, capturing the energy of gigs, the atmosphere of the crowd, and those unforgettable moments on stage. I also love creating content and bringing ideas to life through my camera.

I’m a big believer in supporting others, especially small local bands, independent artists, and local businesses. I love helping people share their passion, showcase their talent, and get their name out there. 🖤

Whether it’s live music, creative content, or capturing moments worth remembering, I’m always excited to meet new people, connect with creatives, and work on new opportunities.

I have been lucky to photograph artists such as @gigigoldmusic @moradoband @scarlet.ghoulll @jaredjamesnichols & @liamcromby

Thank you for being here and supporting my journey! Every like, share, follow, and opportunity means so much to me. 🫶

Such a joy to get out and take photos/video the legend @liamcromby - a blinder of a set and what a wonderful band! So pumped to see that many people out on a Thursday night supporting live music.
