The moment you realize maybe it really does all work out. 🥹🤍

Growing up, I was always told I took the hard way. I used to wonder why nothing ever seemed to come easily, but looking back now, I think every challenge, every sacrifice and every moment that pushed me taught me to keep going.

Being able to share my work, my creativity and what I love doing on a platform like this was something I dreamed about long before I ever thought it could actually happen.

And then this happened.

Standing beside Thomas and hearing that we had WON Renovation Resort Showdown is a moment I don’t think I’ll ever fully be able to put into words.

Because it wasn’t just about winning. It was realizing that something I had once only imagined for myself had somehow become real.

It was every early morning, late night, setback, laugh, moment we doubted ourselves and every time we decided to keep pushing anyway.

Thomas, I truly couldn’t have done this without you. I’m so proud of what we built together and that we got to share our passion for building and design with the world.

To the incredible crew behind the scenes, thank you for pouring so much into us and giving us the opportunity to share our skills, our story and even the vulnerable parts of this experience.

To Scott and Bryan, learning from two people we grew up watching and looking up to was surreal. Your knowledge and feedback are something we’ll carry with us for the rest of our careers.

To our family, friends and everyone who watched, cheered us on and sent us love every week… thank you. We felt it. 🤍

And to the other teams, I’m so damn proud of all of us. We walked in as competitors and left with friendships and a shared experience we’ll never forget.

For the younger version of me who wondered why her road always seemed a little harder…

Maybe the universe doesn’t always give you the easy way. Maybe it gives you the road that shows you what you’re capable of. 🤍

And maybe some dreams just take a little longer to find their way to you.

I’ll never forget this chapter.

We have no idea what comes next for Thomas and me, but we’re ready for it.

Here’s to the next adventure.🥂

Every show is all about teamwork, and I don't think there's ever been a team this big in Canada.

Very grateful to vince_buda for the trust and confidence in @gesualdi1 and I. Thank you for bringing us on board. We're very proud to be here. It was an amazing opportunity for @splitcineinc.

Huge thanks to @katedouglaswalker and @petervidulich for always being open to hearing us out and putting it all together on the fly. @errrgram Thanks for being the glue that kept it together.

Huge thanks to @thejasonelliott, @russman_fpv and the entire Beast camera team for working so collaboratively with us. Meshing two worlds of production is a crazy challenge and your whole team was wonderful to work with.

Impossibly huge thanks to the entire Canadian camera crew, camera assistants, and utility crews. Thanks for your endless good spirits over long hours, your ability to pivot on the fly, and the great intercom chatter keeping us going at 4AM. This job was a tremendous mental and physical challenge, and I couldn't be prouder of our AC team especially for always being down for whatever Matt and I could come up with. This photo isn't even a quarter of the whole camera team, it's just the most I've got in one frame that I can post right now. More later!

Huge thanks to the production team, the challenge team (especially @daynas35!), our post friends led by @cfuglewicz, and too many others to count.

Above all else, endless gratitude to @alxrevell for helping me dive into this project and being a wonderful partner.

It's a big team. Thank you all for the adventure. More to come.
