POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Yesterday you were getting married. Today you get to say, “That’s my husband. That’s my wife.”

I hope you’re enjoying that lovely just-married feeling, swapping stories and finding out what everyone else got up to while you were busy having the best day.

Here’s a little of it back already — a few moments caught on my phone, ready to enjoy while I work on your wedding film.

Thank you for having me there. What a day to be part of!

🖤From School Days to “I Do” 🖤

Some friendships really do come full circle, and Katie and Richard’s story is one that is particularly special to us at Angel Couture.

Our designer Kay went to school with Richard way back when they were around 12 years old — never imagining that all these years later, she would be creating something so special for his future wife!

A few years ago, Richard came to us with a very special surprise for Katie. He had spotted an evening dress she had fallen in love with from the latest James Bond film and wanted to surprise her with it. Katie wasn’t really a “dress person”, so when the cat was finally let out of the bag and she discovered what he had done, it was safe to say the surprise was a huge success! She absolutely loved her dress… and a lovely new friendship was formed between Katie and her fiancé’s old school friend.

Fast forward a few more years and Katie returned to Angel Couture — this time for something even more special… her wedding outfit! 🖤

True to Katie’s own style and traditions, she knew she wanted to feel completely herself on her wedding day. So, instead of a traditional wedding dress, she chose a stunning ivory silk bridal jumpsuit with a beautiful low plunge neckline, elegant palazzo-style trousers — and, of course… POCKETS! 🖤

It suited Katie absolutely down to the ground. Comfortable, effortlessly stylish and completely her.

It was such an honour to be part of Katie and Richard’s special day, but even more so because of the history behind it. To have known Richard since school, to have watched their relationship unfold, to have dressed Katie for that very first surprise and then eventually create her wedding outfit… it really was a full-circle moment.

And to make it even more special, Kay was lucky enough to attend their wedding too. From the very beginning, the day was relaxed, joyful and full of fun — just like Katie and Richard themselves. 🖤

Congratulations to you both. Thank you for allowing Angel Couture to be part of such a beautiful chapter in your story. 🖤🥂🖤
