Do you love the monthly gallery reset and regular exhibits at LSG?

It is ALL because of the amazing Danna Hall. In addition to being a gifted artist in her own right and having an MFA herself, she also has a keen eye for curation, a practiced and deliberate discretion, crazy art installation skills, and a fabulous design aesthetic. Danna brings great energy to every exhibit and to our little gallery on the coast.

We are definitely punching above our weight class with Danna (and Genie) in our stable of resources helping our artists find the right collectors for their work.

If you ever see anything that interests you scrolling across your social media feed or on our website lansingstreetgallery.com, reach out. Contact Danna or Genie or drop by the gallery during our winter hours: Fri, Sat and Sun 11am - 4pm. Or call for an appointment and one of them would be delighted to meet you for a private viewing. Phone: 707-397-6030.

This remarkable little sculpture has not received its due praise, in our opinion. Hand carved from stoneware and adorned with wire and local sea grasses; this is the statement piece to build your room around. Swipe to see this baby up close and personal.

This piece is #15 in JoAnn Hagerty Humphrey's THE IMAGINED SEASCAPE: NEW WORKS IN CLAY on exhibit through October in the gallery and through the end of the year in our online store.

These new works in clay are reflective of a continuous shift in JoAnn's relationship to nature. The organic and detailed forms evince a nuanced, private and thorough examination of the natural elements from both the land and seascapes of the North Coast.

We are head over heels in love with this farm table and know you will be too!

If you love food and wine and good company, this is the table set to build your social life around. Imagine leisurely dinners with friends and family - whether home cooked meals or take out, filled with lovely wines, morning coffee, or milk and cookies.

Craig Hathaway and Michael Doten have designed and executed a showpiece that stuns. The main table is a second-growth redwood slab from a huge tree, paired with a set of book-matched benches, anchored on a set of custom, cast, wrought iron legs.

Every time we host an event at the gallery, everyone ends up around this table. The exact same thing will happen in your home. This set is on display in the LSG gallery right now. Come fall in love with this piece.

"A symphony of color, rhythm and harmony overflows in the(se) mesmerizing abstract works..." ~Viviana Puello

Lansing Street Gallery is delighted to carry the work of local artist, Thomas T. Thomas and to feature him in an exclusive solo exhibit. His work will be gracing our walls the month of September!

Thomas’ diverse educational background has provided a fascinating backdrop for his varied interests: art, music, business, and wine. With a degree in Music and Voice Performance from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, Thomas is also an accomplished Jazz and Classical Guitarist. Additionally, Thomas holds an MBA in Finance and enjoys a distinguished business career.

In his spare time(!), Thomas has created an award-winning winery in the beautiful Anderson Valley, where he specializes in Pinot Noir.

We are thrilled to host Thomas’ wonderful abstract original artwork during the month of September, with a launch party this coming Saturday, Sept 10th 4-8pm on our open-air deck in Mendocino. Please join us to meet the artist and find the piece that speaks to you.

Collaboration is key! @hathaway.craig and Doten Design have collaborated to design this breathtaking farm table and bench set. WOW!

Made from a more than 3 foot wide redwood slab with sapwood and live edge included, and framed by the companion slab in two perfectly book-matched benches, anchored on matching wrought iron curvy legs, this set is your new statement piece.

Build your kitchen, dining room, or your whole life around it!

Michael Doten's Maple Entryway Table - part of the WOODGRAIN and TIME exhibit at LSG this month - has long elegant, tapered legs and beautiful joinery. What we love most about it is the handmade ceramic center, imprinted with a floral design, glazed in strontium green, and fired to cone 10.

Check out his thoughtful designs, wonderfully executed, throughout the month of August.

Swipe to see the ceramic center in detail.

These Andrew Walker Patterson plein air paintings of the Mendocino Headlands and Glass Beach are just stunning.

You'll see the Headlands dotted with plein air artists this coming September 19th - 25th for the Mendocino Open Paint Out (MOPO), so check out Andrew's work before the rush. Then compare and contrast the diversity and beauty of what is produced.

We love living in a place that values creativity, nurtures art and artists, and supports the local community. We are proud to be part of this amazing coastal artist ecosystem.

P.S. We are also enamored of Andrew's special little vignettes of the historic buildings and water towers in the Village. Swing by to see if he has painted YOUR home ...or business. 🤩🤩

Lisa Keenan's @livingwareceramics are simple, elegant and timeless.

Did you know she originally began hand-building ceramics to showcase the food in her food photography?

They are beautiful stand alone or with some succulent goodies displayed.

Michael Doten and Craig Hathaway have collaborated to produce a lovely woodworking show on the LSG floor.

This exhibit, titled WOODGRAIN and TIME showcases old growth redwood, second growth redwood burls, black walnut and cherry. Whereas Michael prefers the clean lines, intricate dovetails and angles of fine woodwork, Craig believes mother nature already did all the work and it is his job to reveal her beauty through sanding and oiling live-edge pieces.

In a few cases the two have collaborated to combine their woodworking philosophies.

Drop by during the month of August to see how their work compliments the Rosemary Allen abstract art on the walls.
