It’s been so fun creating a gothic fantasy world centred around this Off-White F/W 2020 romantic style dress.

This capture technique combines & synchronises videos from 48 different cameras, producing photorealistic 3D models which move. (The 2nd slide shows one single frame from the footage turned into a static 3D model)

Friday 26th June saw the premiere of NEW WORLDS 3D - a new concept in immersive experience uniting 3D stereoscopic visuals and 360 spatial audio with the aim to create an otherworldly, multidimensional experience.

This is part of a series of new concepts I have been working on along with visual artist @procedural_disarray and choreographer Anna Vargha @dannance.v so it’s great to see this come together. Huge appreciation to everyone who made it down to the event (in a heat wave) and who appeared in this video - great to see you there!

Massive thanks to all the team at Polygon Portal @polygon.live who made it possible for me to present the work at their venue using their incredible 17.1.10 @l.acoustics.official system in L-ISA hyperreal sound - very grateful for all the organisational support from Nico, Adam, Coco, Cleo and Tref and to audio engineer Davey for his help and advice on adapting the set for the venue.

The 360 capture of dance movement would not have been possible without the very generous input of @target3d_ltd - fantastic to be able to work with this team to pioneer the use of volumetric capture and gaussian splat technology using their @4dviews.company system.

Finally shout out to all those that helped and volunteered to make the event go so smoothly - Tom Glendinning @elphntx , @sophie__ch @kiskadee__ and everyone else who supported on the day - very grateful for all your help!

Last week we at Target3D had the privilege of attending a very special event.

Halina Rice @halinarice_music, immersive electronic music producer and AV artist, took over @polygon.live in Soho for an incredible audiovisual experience.

Using volumetric capture data and gaussian splatting techniques filmed at Target3D, alongside reinvigorated visuals, Halina crafted a world that completely absorbed the senses with 3D stereoscopic video and 360 degree audio.

At the heart of several visual pieces was our friend and colleague Anna Vargha @dannance.v, who both choreographed and performed in the volumetric capture. Seeing her work translated into this medium was a privilege. Her performance elevated the entire experience!

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came by to see us at Graduate Fashion Week, and especially to all the designers, academic staff, industry professionals and of course the @graduatefashionfoundation team.

It was great to be at an event with so many talented young creators, in a space full of creativity and passion.

Our pop-up @optitrack motion capture system was a huge hit, running @the.captury for markerless, real-time motion capture. What made it really special, was that we had 3D copies of garments designed by selected graduates in @itsclo3d available to “wear”.

These designers are Lou Miller @lou_ribbons (@leedsartsuniversity_fashion), Chung Wa (Raven) Yau @ravenyau0189 (@cambridgevisualperformingarts) and James Rapinett @james_rapinett_ (@kingstonuniversity).

Visitors to our space were able to virtually try on and move in the garment, prompting them to interact with the designs in a whole new way.

We look forward to watching this next generation continue to break boundaries in expression!

Great to connect and reconnect with so many people in so many places this year! Here are some of the highlights:

- Touring across 10 cities in the UK this year including the show at @hereldn - with support from #PPLMomentum.
- Composition and performance at the New Music Bienniale - so grateful for this opportunity via @prsfoundation to fulfil a dream to write for the orchestra resulting in performances with @bbcconcertorchestra and @bbcsymphonyorchestra at St Georges Hall in Bradford and at @southbankcentre
- Polygon Live LDN - working with @polygon.live team and @l.acoustics.official on the UK’s first fully spatial audio festival at Crystal Palace Park in London.
- Reaching audiences internationally including first time performances in France and Portugal - thanks to the @bpi_music for support via MEGS (Music Export Growth Scheme).
- First time at the @internationalmusicsummit in Ibiza - speaking on the future of spatial audio with @l.acoustics.official
- Release of new album UNREALITY in October and for the first time vinyl being stocked in selected stores internationally.
- Creating cutting edge visuals using 4D gaussian splat technology with visual designer @procedural_disarray and @target3d_ltd and featuring dancer and choreographer @dannance.v .
- @amsterdamdanceevent was a busy one this year - huge thanks to @dolbylabs for inviting me to run a playback session in Dolby Atmos at Tobacco theatre
- Incredible opportunity to perform at Mutek Japan in tokyo this year - my first time in Japan many thanks to organisers @mutek.jp and @prsfoundation for the support.
- Coming off stage at Beyond the Pale with @selectivememorysounds - great festival and audience in County Wicklow, Ireland!

Big thanks to all the people who came along to the shows and to all the people I’ve worked with this year!

Looking forward to next year and more international shows in Dublin, Cork, Belfast, Berlin, Paris and Milan plus a first performance in Sicily at Zo Catania. Tickets available at link in bio!

Thanks so much to everyone who came along to the UK tour over the last 2 weeks covering @rescuerooms Nottingham, @electricbristol, @hereldn London @foundrysheffield @nusugigs and @artsclubliverpool it was amazing to be able to share new tracks and visuals and to connect with so many people. Thanks to all the team at @gigsandtours for their support to stage the shows.

It’s been a real journey of discovery creating the new album UNREALITY and the visuals to go with it. As an immersive first artist I’m always interested in investigating new technologies that can transport the audience into otherworldly environments.

For key track ENDLESS I worked with visual artist @procedural_disarray and technology company @target3d_ltd to pioneer a new volume rendering technique, called Gaussian Splatting. With this technique we created 360 videos of dancer and choreographer Anna Vargha @dannance.v resulting in stunning immersive video.

The ‘Behind the Scenes’ video of the making of ENDLESS is now available on my youtube channel with commentary from all the participants. Link in bio!

The new videos will be shown at key upcoming shows including @hereldn in London as well as at venue @the.other.side.nl as part of @amsterdamdanceevent and prestigious AV festival @mutek.jp .

I’m excited about the potential for the future including extensions of this technology into XR and VR environments.

Massive thanks to the Target3D team including Ashley Keeler, Aimone Bodini and Sam Kaighin who made the on day shoot go so smoothly.
