4 years ago getting accepted into axees was my dream come true. As a baby first soprano freshman, I had no idea how I was going to pull off alto 1, but this group had new plans for me (a1 power)! It would not only be my anchor throughout college, but it would also change me.

It has been so beautiful and inspiring to sing alongside these strong, talented, passionate, and dedicated women. I have enjoyed contributing to this group in every way, whether it's singing melody, harmony, keeping a steady beat, or having the opportunity to co-arrange with one of my dearest friends.

We have truly built this group from the ground to the sky with each of our voices and I still can't believe we are this year's champions 🏆 (touse)!!!!

You all have taught me resilience and true friendship through the music we create. In times of personal and societal inequity, we always had a message. This year, we pushed boundaries and showed strength through treble voices. We displayed the value in loving each other and what we do. As one of three 4-year members what a freaking way to go out! I'm so proud of us and how far we've made it.
