If there was any way I’d love to spend my birthday week, it would be this. I was so ecstatic when my friends and I got invited to the @netflix LA Premiere of People We Meet on Vacation on Tuesday! We got to see the movie on the big screen, which was such a wonderful experience. And seeing it with my friends who love the book as much as I do will now be a core memory for the rest of my life.

After the screening, we were invited to the reception with the cast and crew, and the highlight for us was meeting @emilyhenrywrites herself! What an absolute dream come true it was! Meeting her and chatting, hanging out with her friends and family there, and getting our books signed by her made the night so unforgettable.

If you know me, you know that my favorite EmHen book is PWMOV. It was the first romcom book I read after not reading any fiction for over 10 years, and it left a special place in my heart. I discovered my love for a Friends-to-Lovers trope, and I was reminded that love can be found anywhere and anytime.

The movie was so fun to watch. I can’t imagine a more perfect Poppy in my eyes like @emily_bader . She embodied Poppy in a way I don’t think anyone could have done. @tomblyth was as charming as ever, and the cast were all just so fun and hilarious. My favorite scene is when Alex meets Poppy’s parents for the first time. You’ll be laughing so hard.

Thank you again to @netflixfilm for inviting us to the premiere. You already started our 2026 in the best way ever.

People We Meet On Vacation airs today, 1/9 on Netflix. If you’re planning on watching it this weekend, let me know, and share your favorite moments from both the movie and book if you can!

What a life. What a year. What gratitude I feel for every moment: loss, grief, heartbreak, break ups, hurt, love, support, friendship, softness, grace, hope, growth, success. All of it. With all 2025 brought us, and it was a lot of pain, I’m so grateful for it. What fell apart, made way for better things. I’m ready for it all with arms wide open. This was 36: messy, chaotic, sad, beautiful, hopeful, resilient. 37 will be even better.

To my friends, my family, my clients, my team, my colleagues: I love you all. Thank you for being part of my story. The next chapter is going to be amazing. Happy new year to everyone! Happy New Year 🎊🎈🎆🫶🏼

If you wanna know one thing about me, I never pass up a Gilmore Girls event. Loved going through this at The Grove for their 25th anniversary!

Sadly, Jess wasn’t there or everyone would’ve witnessed my marriage to him 😂

End of February update 🥀
I visited my girls @mikalasreads and @dannisimone in LA for the day! 🫶🏼 love them sm. They took me to the stunning @therippedbodice and the three story Barnes.
We also read The Boyfriend for our book club and instead of a craft this month we decided to play some card games + yap instead lol

What was your favorite part of February?
