I made it a challenge to try and choose one picture to represent every month of 2025, but looking at them all side by side I realize how much they fail to capture.

The blessings and the beauty. There were so many things I achieved that I never would’ve thought possible if you’d asked me this same time last year. I was able to make my first ever short film, taking the first step in realizing a lifelong dream and fully feeling comfortable as an artist. I also had the once in a lifetime opportunity to take part in the Telluride Film Festival’s Student Symposium program, which by my estimation was the single best week of my life. Most importantly, however, I got to share so much with so many incredible people both new and old. I’ve met and made countless friends who I hope will be with me not only this next year, but every year after that.

The trials and tribulations. For the countless hours spent laughing this year, just as many were spent stressing. It’s been a demanding year in every aspect of my life. Work, school, finances, friendships, many things have applied the pressure and forced me to evolve, whether I wanted to or not. While I might not have enjoyed each and every moment this year had to offer, I have to hope they were of value in someway, whether I can recognize it now or not.

So again, looking at these twelve pictures, it’s bizarre to think we’ve come out the other end of 2025. Now, with 2026 around the corner, I just want to again say thanks to everyone who made this year so memorable, and I eagerly await to see where life takes us all in the coming year.

Love y’all 🫶

I went to the mountains in search of something unknown to me and found it.

So thankful to have had such a transformative experience. I met some incredible people, visited some incredible places, watched some incredible films, and got to immerse myself in an incredible artistic community. Needless to say, it was the greatest week of my life.

Till next year, Telluride.

A massive thank you to everyone that’s supported so far!
If you want to get involved just donate $10 or more to a charity of your choice (or Venmo @travis-suzaka for us to donate for you) to receive your very own CUSTOM COVID COUTURE PORTRAIT!
DM me a screenshot of the receipt and answer the below questions:
If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be? And what would you be wearing?

We’ve been donating to the incredible funds below:

Undocu Workers Fund is raising funds for undocumented folks working in all industries in NYC. https://raise-nyc.squarespace.com/about

The Garment Worker Center has a COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund for garment workers in LA. These workers are often not eligible for unemployment benefits and the underground nature of the industry, such as “off the books” work, makes applying for paid family leave or disability insurance uniquely challenging for this workforce. https://garmentworkercenter.ourpowerbase.net/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=2

The Laundry Workers Center has launched an Emergency Response Fund to provide funds for for the essential laundry workers who have lost work, are sick or are otherwise impacted by the COVID-19 virus: https://laundryworkerscenter.nationbuilder.com/covid_19_emergency_response_fund
