Readiness isn’t something you wait for. It’s something you catch up with.

For weeks, almost everything in this house has moved more slowly than usual: walking, deciding, unpacking one box at a time. The cast is off now, but the leg is far from finished healing. That didn’t stop us from tearing a wall apart.

Not carefully. Not one small strip at a time. Big pieces, torn off in one pull. Faster than expected. Oddly satisfying.

From the outside, it probably looks a bit absurd: sitting in a chair, crutches resting on the floor beside you, tearing a wall apart with your arms while the rest of your body is still healing. From the inside, it makes sense.

We keep waiting for the moment we are fully ready before we let ourselves move: fully healed, fully sure, fully prepared. The project that stays on the shelf until you feel confident enough. The conversation you keep postponing until you have the right words. The decision you leave open until it feels completely safe.

But readiness like that rarely arrives first. Usually, you move at the point you are actually at, and the readiness follows behind, catching up with what you already started.

The leg is still healing. The wall is already down.

What are you still waiting to feel ready for that you could start now and let readiness catch up later?

Nobody talks about the moment
your life becomes boxes.

The books.
The cups.
The clothes.
The things you used every day without really seeing them.

Suddenly, everything has to be touched.

Sorted.
Lifted.
Carried.

From the outside, moving looks practical.

A van.
Boxes.
People helping.
One more thing to tape shut.

But inside it, something else is happening.

A chapter is being taken apart.

The life that felt normal yesterday
is now standing in piles on the floor.

And somewhere between the dust, the keys, the tired arms,
and the last box leaving the room,
you feel it:

This is a threshold.

You are not fully there anymore.
And not yet rooted here.

Moving asks real questions.

What still belongs with me?
What am I only carrying out of habit?
What is ready to be left behind?

Change is not always a clear moment.
Sometimes it looks like this:

half-taped boxes,
people walking in and out,
and your whole life fitting into a truck.

And maybe you are not moving house.
But you know this feeling.

A part of your life being packed up
before you fully understand what comes next.

A threshold is still a threshold,
even when it looks like boxes.

What are you carrying into your next chapter?

Some places don’t give you answers.
They change the way you look.

Kitch-iti-kipi, Michigan’s Big Spring, is one of those places for us.

We have been here several times.
And every time, something in us gets quiet enough to notice what is happening beneath the surface.

At first, you see the water.
Clear.
Still.
Almost untouched.

Then you go below.
Fish move through the cold spring water.
Sand shifts in slow patterns.
Water keeps rising through limestone, from somewhere deeper than you can see.

It is quiet there.
Blue, green, and unbelievably clear.
It simply keeps moving.

And standing there, watching it again, we remembered something we often forget:
strength does not always feel like certainty.

Sometimes it feels like a quiet current underneath everything.
A movement that is already there.
A deeper part of you that has not stopped rising, even
when life looks still from the outside.

Kitch-iti-kipi keeps showing us the same thing:
the surface is never the whole story.

Not all power announces itself.
Some power rises quietly, again and again.

What in you is quietly rising right now?

We have been quiet here for a while.

Not because the fire went out, but because life itself became the practice.

A move.
A broken leg.
A season of boxes, thresholds, furniture stores, and learning to walk at the pace the body allows.

Then this small moment:
a pink cast, rolling toward a furniture store, where the whole entrance was filled with pink.

Sometimes the world has a quiet sense of humour.
Sometimes it mirrors back the colour of the chapter you are in.

We are finding our rhythm again.
One step, one threshold at a time.

What has life asked you to slow down for lately?

There are moments when you realize you are not looking for more information.
You are looking for alignment.

Not another method.
Not another insight.
But a place where something inside you can settle again.

This is why we are going to the Sinai Desert.
In April 2026, we gather near the ancient temple of Hathor to initiate a new Community Stone Circle — a living power spot created in collaboration with the land and its guardians.

This is not a retreat for escape.
It is a return.
A return to listening.

To the deeper current beneath urgency.
To the part of you that already knows.

If Egypt has ever stirred something in you — curiosity, warmth, a quiet homesickness — this may not be random.
It may be resonance.
April 11–17, 2026
Sinai, Egypt

We gather with a small, intentional group.
If you feel the call, explore the journey via the link in our bio.

And if you are unsure but curious — send us a message. We are happy to connect.

Peace is not something we create.
It is something we remember.

Alone time can feel like medicine when you’re stressed out, overwhelmed, or in pain.

Less noise. Fewer demands. A moment where nothing touches you.

But most alone time is not solving the problem—it’s pausing the signal.

Because the ache usually lives in our relationships with others:
the conversation you’re avoiding, the boundary you can’t name,
The closeness you don’t trust, the honesty you’re afraid will cost you.

Our stress and avoidance patterns don’t lead us back to spirit.
They lead us into withdrawal.

True solitude used to be a threshold
You went to the quiet to reconnect with spirit, then returned to the campfire carrying truth.

Save this—especially for the moment you feel the pull to withdraw.
Before you disappear, ask:
* What am I trying not to feel in contact?
* Who is this silence aimed at?
* What truth keeps knocking that I won’t speak?
* Is this solitude… or withdrawal?
* What would repair look like (even a little)?

So if you keep reaching for distance… listen for what wants repair in contact.
When you crave alone time, what relationship comes to mind first?

cold wind and snow in your face—
and somehow that’s what a relationship is sometimes.

One of us loves the snow.
The other one loves the other person.
We keep walking.

two people. two preferences. two ways.
And when it starts to rub, we notice how fast we can go into independence.
not dramatic. just… separate. efficient. quiet.

But inner leadership in a relationship (for us) is this:
I stay with my own voice… without leaving you.

We built a life around the two of us.
not by blending into one.
by learning to stay side by side
when our preferences don’t match
and our voices don’t land in the same place.

We don’t need to agree to stay connected.
We just need to keep choosing the walk.

Where do you tend to go when it gets difficult—closer, quieter, or gone?

INNER PEACE CHEAT CODES (Part 1/2)

We know now what we wish we knew earlier: peace is not the absence of noise, trouble, or hard work.
It is staying calm in your heart in the middle of it.

This is Part 1/2 of our Inner Peace Cheat Codes: nervous-system-friendly truths that help you return to yourself when life gets loud.

Save this for the moments you feel activated. Share it with someone who could use a steady breath today.

Stay tuned for Part 2, with more on forgiveness, letting go, spirals, endings, and repair.

Winter in the Netherlands — and for the first time in a long while we’ve had plenty of snow.

Not everything is what it seems.
Look closer.
Joy is in the details.

Did you spot him on slide 1 or slide 3?
