“They weren’t paying any attention to you Jason, make them remember”.
.
With the release of Crystal Lake I had to post our Jason shoot. This was a very difficult cosplay to have on in 80 degree weather but the shoot was fun and the shots came out amazing.

Okay, usually the recap happens at the end of the month! But this was a jam packed few weeks with concerts, comiccon, crowd surfing, mosh pits, new books, coffee (lots of it), meeting internet friends for the first time, trust falls (my favorite part of the video in this list), oh and ... Ghost face???? I wonder what that's about?
Special thanks to the people that let me use them as a board to stand on and the photos (@emilyagnesiniphotography )that come out of it! 🫶🏻

#nycc2026 was a tad of an odd con for me but in the end I had a great time, and although exhausted, can't wait till next year. If I didn't get a chance to take a shot (either meaning 📸🥃) with you I'm sorry! If you know someone's tag I couldn't fit, shout it out!!

New city. New chapter. Same Amazonian spirit. ⚔️

The armor was on, the lasso was ready, and NYCC Day 1 was nothing short of legendary! From incredible cosplay and epic encounters to reconnecting with familiar faces and making new friends, every moment was a reminder of why I love this community so much. There’s something extraordinary about a world where heroes come to life, imagination knows no limits, and complete strangers become friends through a shared passion.

My first NYCC as a New Yorker, and I couldn’t have imagined a more incredible way to kick off this new chapter!

Friday 8/21/2026 was the first full day of Anime NYC 2026, and the Javits Center was already in full swing.

For me, the day was pretty much this: walk ten feet, see another great cosplay, stop, make a photograph, repeat.

The variety was incredible — anime, games, armor, props, groups, action poses, and completely different styles everywhere you looked. But what really made the day was the people: old friends running into each other, new friendships starting on the convention floor, and cosplayers just having a great time bringing these characters to life.

A few of my favorite frames from Friday. 📸
