September 🍂⛰️ One of those months that was mostly spent chasing views, getting some miles in and making the most of being outdoors. From woodland trails and quiet valleys to rocky summits, reservoirs and some properly dramatic Peak District skies. A few tired legs along the way, plenty of questionable weather, and more photos than I’ll ever need. 😂 Good walks, great views, better company. September, you were a good one. 🤝 Here’s to more weekends spent somewhere up a hill. 🥾⛰️ #SeptemberRecap #MonthlyRecap #PeakDistrict #WinnHill #HikingUK

Hope you’re all doing well and prepared for heatwave round two! 🌞 Heads up that due to understaffing we will unfortunately be closed again this Wednesday evening and Saturday daytime (until 6pm); that does however give you plenty of time to enjoy the sunshine before paying us a visit. We have loads of new records on the shelves (more info coming soon!) and plenty of chilled wines to keep you nice and cool. And here’s what we’ve got programmed - THURS 9th Steel Frequencies presents Uncork the Bass (6-9pm) Steel Frequencies returns for another night of strictly vinyl multi-genre selections from some of Sheffield’s finest wax selectors. Expanding beyond their usual dubstep roots, this edition welcomes DJs from across a range of genres, bringing a fresh sound and style while keeping the focus on quality records and heavyweight selections. Expect an eclectic journey through dubstep, dub, 4x4, speed garage, and techno. FRI 10th Sound Service Station (8pm - midnight) Expect deep, warm, grooving, funky bass riffs and syncopated rhythms spanning jazz, disco, Latin, and funk for a Friday night that feels like it’s on a hot hot terrace with a lil spritz in hand. Plus it’s Linga Sound’s birthday so there may well be cake and/or party bags 🍰🥂 SAT 11th Dub at Grub (8pm - midnight) Dub at Grub is a brand new night, bringing an array of talented DJs together all under the same roof for a night of dub, reggae, ska, and rocksteady tunes. On the line-up for this inaugural event we have legends such as Ray Macdonald and Vicki Ranyard with ska and soul classics, as well as special guest and talented emerging DJ Leon Webb travelling all the way from London for the event. Headlining we have TJR spinning reggae through to the early hours. See you soon, Team Grub xx
