I somehow ended up with the most fun job in the world being the stage manager for #sawthemusical in Denver. I have so much to say about this last month but I’ll try to keep it brief. Julia, Danny, and Indigo are all such talented, hilarious, and energetic performers that bring their all to the show every single performance. The energy they bring is unmatched and they have me laughing my ass off in the booth the entire show no matter how many times I get to see it. Our Company Manager, Josh, and Assistant Stage Manager, Danielle, work so hard to keep the show running smooth. They have all been an absolute blessing to work with and I am so glad I got to meet them all. I could gush forever about how incredible everyone is. The Bug Theater is such a unique, historic, and beautiful venue that I have been lucky enough to get to work in every weekend for the past month. I am still in shock that I was given this opportunity, and I am so grateful for everyone at @sawthemusical for putting their faith in me to help with such a special show and giving me such an incredible opportunity. It is such a bittersweet moment as we close in on our final weekend of performances, but I am so proud of the show we have put on. Working on this show has been an absolute dream come true and an experience I will always treasure. If you are in the Denver area, please come join us for our final weekend of shows in Denver!

Unique, Funny, and Fresh take… Just a few words to describe this evening’s entertainment. We went in unsure about what to expect, because we are HUGE Saw fans and had low expectations if we are to be honest. As soon as the “curtains were drawn” and Julia Ragalie began to sing about her “killing” games, we were hooked.

This 3-person cast was amazing, bringing new life to an already loved classic horror film. Danny Durr played a wonderful, strange and self-absorbed doctor. His performance was both interactive and captivating and when he played out an over-the-top sexual romance with a blow-up doll we thought we might fall out of our chairs in hysterical laughter. Indigo Jones’ delightfully nieve youthful performance drew us in along with his sarcastic body language and witty remarks make the play over the top. Danny and Indigo’s chemistry and ability to play off each other creating intense sexual tension that was made even more hilarious due to the layers of filth between them. Julia ability to change between characters seamlessly throughout the musical was mind blowing, first being an evil mastermind planning seductive games made to destroy people emotionally and physically then becoming a strong woman overcoming evil in the next scenes. Overall, if you interested in an evening of laughter, considering the importance of women empowerment, and desire to watch a strange love story in a disturbingly unsanitary bathroom unfold in front of your eyes… this is the perfect play for you!! No matter if you attend this play or choose to come to other events we review, as always, Come Haunt with US!!!

“Goodbye again. Parting is such sweet sorrow.” That was my final line this summer in Fort Peck, and nothing really summarizes my feelings better than that. But this place and these people are too special to summarize. So, I’ve challenged myself to cram as many inside jokes into this post as possible while staying sincere! Hey There Everybody! I’m so happy to have spent another amazing summer working at the Fort Peck Summer Theatre. The amazing people are what make this place special, We Are Fort Peck! And before I have to say “Wow, You’re Mad (insert your name here)” I’m sorry I couldn’t tag everyone. Instagram still only allows 20 tags, damn thing gives me the pip. I’m so grateful you all bared with me for all five shows. Noises Off was a doozy of a start (doorzy🚪?), and while we left many children asking “What Dat Dad?” I think we did a pretty bang up job, you know. To doors and sardines! Footloose followed shortly and to keep this post shorter than the Holy Bible, I’ll try to be brief. Being a bad boy along side the Chuck Footloose was “razy - alvin.” I’m still mad at the town council hiking the price of that dog license. Also… WHAM!!! To Dancing and Almost Pairs of Dice! 9 to 5 was something special. A powerful feminist piece and a gut-wrenchingly funny comedy. I think I laughed no less than 991 times during this run. Also I now understand the appeal of peacocks! You maybe asking “What the fuck does that have to do with anything?” but it’s because I won the costume lottery while playing Dick. To Waffles, The Clapper, and Finding the Boy Parts! Music Man was a what, was a what? Was a real good time, with a lot of fun jokes! And I can’t forget to mention all the bits on the stage, like the Green Grass Goats, and the Slides, and the Urns, and the Crow sounds too! To “Hello” and the Sexology Section! Blithe Spirit was a great end to the season, despite the lack of carpet. It was an honor to lead this piece and share the stage with such wonderful people and tasty sandwiches! To Rocking Chairs and Flipping Tables! I miss you all already and can’t wait to see you next time whenever that may be. In closing I’d like to reiterate “Parting is such sweet sorrow.” ❤️

Though it was not easy, I’m so grateful for everything that I have learned and the friendships I have made. Thank you to all who came to see me this summer!

Till next summer Millbrook, Pee-wee Herman out.

I can’t even begin to describe how much this show meant to me. Working with this AMAZING cast and crew was truly the best experience I could’ve had for my first PROFESSIONAL show. I am so grateful to have gotten this opportunity and I am so beyond proud of everyone involved in the show. 🩵✨🎸👩‍🎤💍

Now for the sappy stuff… To all my cast mates, the Adults specifically, Thank you for accepting me with open arms. Thank you for treating me as more than just a cast mate. When I found out that most of the cast had already gotten to work with each other in a past production, I was worried that I wouldn’t fit in or that I would be treated like an outsider. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. Though our time together might have been short, I can truly say that it felt like a family from the beginning. I love you guys so much and I hope to work together again super super duper soon🩷🩷

To Trevor. My partner in crime. When I found out that we would be the two members of the teen ensemble in this show, I was over the moon. I knew that no matter what happened, you’d always be right beside me. Even if it was to annoy me again. But all jokes aside, thank you and I love you🩵

To our WONDERFUL director, Danny(@dannyjdurr). Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. This show has truly helped me grow as a performer in numerous ways. It gave me confidence and put me in roles I don’t usually play. It was a great challenge and an even better experience. Thank you for being so flexible and supportive with not only my crazy character choices, but my schedule as well. I hope to work with you again in the future because you are such an amazing person and such an incredible Director. Congratulations on a wonderful show.🤍

To all my people people, Although we have gone our separate ways, I know our paths will cross again, and I can’t wait till they do. I know everyone in this cast and crew will do amazing things, and I’m so proud of each and every one of you guys. You guys will always hold a special place in my heart.🩷Till death do us part(get it, it’s a wedding joke) Until, next time.🩵🩵🩵
