Gratitude is a must.

Photography has given me a life I once only imagined. Golf has introduced me to people I never would have met otherwise. I’m grateful for both.

Stay tuned. There are plenty more stories worth telling.

One course…One crew…Endless stories

It’s always funny when we pull up to the course and people get a little confused seeing three Black golfers standing on the first tee. Then Serah makes par, Danny makes par, and I make par. Juneteenth was last Friday, the U.S. Open just wrapped up, the world wanted Scottie Scheffler to win on his birthday, but golf had other plans. The course was tough, the pars were earned, and somewhere out there I wonder if anybody used a Castle Flexx this morning. Shout out to Wyndham Clark and the team at Power Design. Father’s Day had me thinking about my dad and missing him a little extra, but mostly I’m feeling thankful. Thankful for good people, good golf, and another day above ground. Tomorrow I’ll tell you why you should go to Stretch Space. Until then, keep making pars and confusing people. ⛳️

This game has a way of connecting people you’d never meet otherwise.

Some of the best rounds don’t start with the course… they start with the people.

A few weeks ago I went out to Emerald Hills Golf Club and yeah, it wasn’t in the best shape. Sand on the greens, just not it.

Last week Serah hit me to run it back, and I didn’t even think about the conditions.

It was about the company.

She brought Danny from Kenya 🇰🇪, Myles from Mauritius 🇲🇺, and Raffie from Ghana 🇬🇭. Different parts of the world, same love for the game.

First time I’ve ever even heard of Mauritius, not gonna lie.

Vibes high. Talk crazy. Solid golf all around.
Serah and I handled a few things early on the front, but that’s not what stayed with me.

And to be fair, the course was in much better shape this time around. Respect to the crew for tightening things up.

But this is what I always say…

Golf Connections isn’t about who’s better.
It’s about who you meet and how the game brings it together.

Grateful for that every time.

And while here off of two weeks back to back, shoutout to @nellykorda … different level. Congrats on another win.

Talk golf to me.
