This is a great way to analyze a punch, work on reflexes, visual strength.
Keep it simple but there’s a process and technique

Blade attacks are dirty, fast and dangerous. Avoid at all costs. Some disarms only work when you’re in a clinch/restraint or wrestling but the dynamics are vastly challenging when it’s real and mutilple variables are thrown at you

Being a man isn’t about being the loudest guy in the room, standing six feet tall, having a beard, driving an expensive car, being rich, or having muscles that make people look twice. Those things might describe your appearance or lifestyle, but they don’t define your character. Real strength shows itself when life gets difficult, when nobody is watching, and when doing the right thing costs you something. It’s taking responsibility for your actions instead of blaming everyone else. It’s having the humility to admit when you’re wrong, the courage to apologise, and the discipline to change. It’s keeping your word even when it’s inconvenient. It’s treating people with respect regardless of who they are or what they can do for you. A man doesn’t need to intimidate others to feel powerful, raise his voice to win an argument, or have the last word to prove a point. Sometimes, the strongest thing you can do is walk away from unnecessary conflict, listen when someone challenges you, or admit you don’t have all the answers. Confidence doesn’t need an audience, and strength doesn’t need to be announced.

What do you believe makes a man? Let’s have an honest conversation. 👊

Got to introduce @its_kayracaner to some basics. Was offered a @budobrothers stick to use for this session. Was great fit for her, lighter, easier to manipulate and….crack my fingers 😓 😆 , pain is part of this game

Many may think that these tools are for defense , lol officials, sporting with a common denominator of pulling a trigger. A very important factor of only one is being able to maintain it in your position hence the Course Weapon Retention.
To date, I’ve only seen two recommended trainers, and there may be more out there, @efcombatives @c4c_operator . I would recommend reaching out to these guys and attend one of their courses or contact www.oppsint.com in Canada

Note; we use decommissioned tools, decommissioned, CO2 tools, and blue g¥ns

The instructor who taught us the Ultimate hook was a civil engineer. His mind was always designing, improving and then implementing then going back to the drawing board.

We spent hours on basics, got yelled at a lot for using too much power in the beginning.
It was a very different concept to grasp, to not punch with power…yet.

After weeks of repetition of fundamentals, it finally made sense and all we did was the Ultimate hook.

We don’t train knife fights, we train strikes or defense.
It’s not as easy as it looks.

There’s a lot of non believers in firearm disarms, and I can understand why. However, if you learn from true instructors in the field, who don’t sugarcoat things or fabricate, nonexistence scenarios, and like any skill, you practice it over and over, it may your life one day.
But I’m being realistic as well. Some cities or countries don’t have the same kind of violence I was raised in, and there may not be a need for this kind of training. But do consider that you might have to travel or move to a different country or city for whatever reason and you may need the skills one day.

Remember those days where you did boring drills? Those boring drills now made you dangerous.

We need to think with the brain and not the sword. We control the sword and once you unleash the blade, there’s no turning back.
Just taking that analogy that the brain controls everything. Never respond with emotion or just because you have a particular set of training that you need to apply it at that time. No the situation, know your surroundings and know the ramifications.

If this was my kid, the school would be closed, and the instructor would be teaching from a wheelchair.
Students, if this is how you’re being treated, you’re not learning anything. Find another school before an instructor like this paralyzes you

It’s been a journey. And journeys never end. And when you think it does. There’s are those who believed and learnt from you to carry on the legacy and knowledge.
So be true, share, inspire and think about what those will say when you are gone. Who were you, what was your purpose while you walked this earth??
