Another @leaderscreateleaders retreat in the books.

Once again I’m impressed by the caliber of people in the room and the level of breakthrough that can come when dropping the mask.

A recurring trend these days was being Different, which is a cause for celebration, not remorse. Blocking the world from experiencing the authentic version of yourself is an incredible disservice.

“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

How can you step into truth? What do you have to release, and what do you have to focus on in this next season to reach the potential God is calling you to?

This past week I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days with some world-class men.

This event was a reminder that my level of leadership, conviction, and capacity is heavily influenced by the men in my corner.

To put it simply - we are the reflection of the men we spend the most time with.

If the men in your circle are playing small, you’re probably playing small.

If the men in your circle break promises to themselves, you probably break promises to yourself.

If the men in your corner are comfortable, you probably are comfortable.

Why does this even matter?

Because if the men you surround yourself with hold themselves to a higher standard, they will hold you to a higher standard.

They can give the feedback and support when you’re falling short of the man you’re capable of becoming.

They can call you forward when you’re playing small because you respect their opinions and there’s a mutual agreement to hold each other accountable to your potential.

The proverb explains it so clearly: “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”

Through this process of mutual friction, forging, and pressure - you both become sharper from it.

Brotherhood is biblical. (Same goes for women)

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized how important it is to have men in my corner who share the same beliefs, values, and character.

From this foundation - you become a better partner, son, brother, friend, business man, leader and human being.

The world needs more men who are leading with their faith, will not tolerate evil, and will stand firm in what they believe in.

Will you answer that call? 💪🏽

Just a few months ago I had no real plans of starting a business or putting myself out there. So far it’s come with a lot of learning and growth, but it’s also come with uncertainty and self doubt.

So, I decided to lean into that uncomfortableness and surround myself with men who are further ahead than me.

After spending a few days in Charlotte with @leaderscreateleaders , I know that was the right choice.

Everyone had no issue giving advice and providing help in any way they could. There was no jealousy, envy, bullying or people being left out. Just like minded, faith driven men coming together, taking time away from their busy lives to learn, connect, pour into one another and leave better than they came, for their families, communities, and the people that they serve. As a bonus, we left with friends we can call brothers and a group we can call family.

Most importantly, God was at the Center of everything we did, from the AI workshops 🤖 to White Water Rafting 🛶 and will continue to be the center of our lives.

“Be the Leader. Be Different. Build Different.”⚔️

Shoutout to @gerardadams @luminarylui @matt.hubble @aaronvelky @jake.daybell @iamkellygardner @lyneka.estee @haydnflores @jesh.roach and the rest of the team for following a vision and creating this group and space to bring us all together🙏🏾

Most men don’t need another business coach.

They need to become a different man.

30 men showed up this weekend.

Not because they wanted another networking event.
Not because they wanted more AI prompts.
Not because they wanted another dopamine hit.

They came because they’re tired of wearing the mask.

This is men’s work.

Real men’s work.

The kind that forces you to confront the man you’ve become… so you can become the man God is calling you to be.

Over the weekend we moved through five stages:

⚔️ Confront.
🔥 Transform.
🛡️ Become.
👑 Lead.
🤲 Serve.

And every one of those stages demanded something.

Pride.
Control.
Comfort.
Excuses.

The old identity had to die.

Because you don’t build a legacy carrying a version of yourself that no longer serves the mission.

That’s why I’ve become obsessed with leadership.

Because I’ve realized something…

You don’t have a business problem.

You have a leadership problem.

When the leader grows their capacity…
the business grows.

Purpose.
Peace.
Profit.

In that order.

That’s Leaders Create Leaders.

We’re not a mastermind.
We’re not a networking group.
We’re not another coaching program.

We’re a Leadership Institute.

A brotherhood.
A proving ground.
A place where men sharpen men.

Where truth is spoken.
Where standards are high.
Where accountability is expected.
Where Christ isn’t an afterthought… He’s the foundation.

The tribe is growing.

But we’re not trying to become bigger.
We’re becoming stronger.
More aligned.
More disciplined.
More dangerous to mediocrity.

We are ‘Built Different’

To every man who stepped into the arena this weekend…

I honor your courage.
Thank you for trusting us.
Thank you for trusting each other.

This is only the beginning.

The next gathering is this Fall.

Not everyone belongs here.

But if something in your spirit is telling you it’s time to stop playing small…

We’ll know.

If you want to be considered for the next event, DM me the word “LEADER.”

We’ll send you what it takes to qualify.

Let’s build.

48 hours in Charlotte.

Grateful to be able to chop it up with high level entrepreneurs and elite performers from across the world with some brothers at @leaderscreateleaders

God continues to open the right doors and place the right people in my path, for that I’m super grateful.

Knowledge, opportunity & potential is nothing without consistent action though.

The real separation between those who progress and those who remain is applied through action.

Do you invest in your personal growth? If not, what’s holding you back?
