My 1st time choreographing for motion capture was so much fun! Some split screen behind the scenes to show how I developed the choreography for mobile game Garena Free Fire ‘Battle In Style’ live interactive performance featuring virtual band T.R.A.P. made up of 4 popular characters from the game: Miguel, Antonio, Kelly & Moco 🎤👨‍🎤👩‍🎤

Was so grateful for the opportunity to let my imagination run wild, where the possibilities are endless, to visualise what is not yet designed or put together in Unreal Engine & literally put the audience wherever you want to, was such an enjoyable challenge! 💡🤩

The latest @britishcinematographer “Focus On” supplement delves deep into Virtual Production. Taking a prime position is @elliegoulding’s making of music video for “Like A Saviour”, with a double-page spread exploring the creative journey.

Director Joe Connor envisioned a landscape where time, light, and the horizon could be manipulated. The @dneg and Dimension team crafted a 5km² desert in Unreal Engine, complete with a live AI weather system and cloud rendering, shot on our LED volume.

“The goal was a hybrid timelapse of light movement, yet without frenetic clouds, which instead moved in realtime. The result feels familiar, yet otherworldly,” explains @davidprocterdop
