Graphics designer, Collages, posters, letters and prints! Rad Dad and owner @vahalla_studios

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@vahalla_studios Vahalla Studios is widely considered one of the best flatstock screen printers in the country, and it’s right here in Kansas City, celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Known for richly layered color, incredible detail, and specialty finishes, Vahalla has produced posters for respected designers, galleries, and touring musicians, including work for Mondo, Draplin Design Co., and The Avett Brothers.
What makes the shop even more impressive is how modest the people behind it are. They’ve spent two decades doing exceptional work that reaches well beyond Kansas City, while quietly keeping the craft of printmaking alive here at home.
Happy 20th anniversary, Vahalla Studios.

Let’s get merry! This Saturday from 12-4 we’re partnering with our neighbor breweries @servaesbrewco and @transportbrewery_shawnee so you can bar hop and holiday shop. Each stop will feature cool local makers offering unique gifts. We’ll have two incredible graphic designer friends from @vahalla, as well as our neighbor sister in sustainability, @sudsrefillery. Stop by any one of the breweries to pick up your Tinsels & Taps punch card. Buy a beer at each stop, get your punches and turn in your completed card to claim a free glass provided by @visitshawneekansas (while supplies last)!

FOR SALE: $50
ARTIST: The Decemberists
VENUE: the Mohawk, Austin, TX
DATE: 07/11/2007
EDITION: #1/350
SIZE: 18”X 24”
PAPER STOCK: 80#
DESIGNER: Sergie Loobkoff

The Back Story:
Back when I worked at MySpace I started a concert
program called “MySpace Secret Shows”. The premise
was simple. We had big bands play in small venues
and announced the show with just one day’s notice.
We held these shows all over America and then all over
the world. We eventually went on to produce over 200
‘secret’ shows. All of the shows were free and first
come first serve. So they were always packed with the
most dedicated fans which made for a very fun
environment.

After each show I handed out a silk screened poster to
each attendee(also for free). Very nice posters designed by a
talented assortment of people

Why am I telling you all of this? Because I kept #1 of
almost every poster, and I obviously don’t need or
have space for 200+ posters. I’ve been sitting on them
for over a decade, and now I’m selling them all.

Posters will be shipped well protected in a sturdy tube.
Prices are post paid in the USA. So that means if you
live in the USA, shipping is included in the price you
see.  International Orders will Have to Pay Shipping

Insurance is extra, and there are no returns. So be
confident with your purchase.
Yes, I will combine multiple posters in one tube (up to 4) for
free.
Feel free to message me with any questions prior to
purchasing.
